After spending an hour meeting with President Barack Obama at the White House, Bernie Sanders vowed to stay in the race for Tuesday's District of Columbia primary while acknowledging that he would work with Hillary Clinton to defeat Donald Trump in the general election.
Sanders ticked through a list of his priorities, promising to take those issues to the convention in Philadelphia next month.
“0blama probably told him privately to STAY IN THE RACE.”
And added to his “reasons” is that he hates both of the Clitons!
“His supporters are nutjobs.”
And unlike Hillary’s, they are really committed to him!
All for show for his supporters.
You know Bernie and 0bama came to an “agreement”. I expect Bernie will hold out until the convention. Then in the las minutes he will take to the stage and raise Hillarys arm in a dramatic display of unity.
That’s it, Bernie...don’t give in. Keep fighting!!
Please run as an independent if you have to, but DON”T give up!!!!

You could be right. Sanders allowing Hillary’s email scandal to go untouched proves he never wanted to win in the first place.
Bernie is the Bolshevik, Hillary the Menshevik. We knew who ultimately won THAT power struggle. And then who won the bigger battle between the Bolsheviks vs. freedom lovers.

Your post makes me chuckle for 2 reasons:
1) I have a friend like you who was a student there over 30 years ago. She never left the 60s. (Her sister is even worse -- real moonbat flower child.) She supports Bernie; she still raves about feminism & hangs out with like-minded people. Ironically, as far as personality & values, she is more like a Hillary, whom she will most likely support in the end if need be.
2) Another friend of mine remarked that Bernie would make a great Mayor of Tannersville -- some quaint, hippie enclave. There he can play out the Socialist dream till his heart's content. Maybe Burlington is close enough -- or small enough, as is the entire state of Vermont.
Bernie definitely is a true believer. I never thought he was evil, just loony. Although Bernie won't win the nomination, I'm worried that down the road somebody like him will, given the vacuity of so many of today's youth. I pray that some will mature, but I'm not so sure. Lot of kids with mental health issues. Also, I'm worried he might either end up either as Hillary's running mate or a cabinet member. As friend #2 also said, "God help us all if these kind of people get into office."

I don’t think it was to discuss the Warriors Basketball playoffs. I suspect they have devised a dignified exit plan for the old gent.
Talk about being ‘branded’! That’s a huge tattoo on their left hip, and it will be next to impossible to erase. So who or what is on that persons’ right side hip? Karl Marx, maybe?
For so many years, American women have yearned for a woman president, and now that she is in their grasp, they are not turning loose of “the dream.”
