The Commonwealth of Massachusetts jumped on the transgender bathroom bandwagon Wednesday when its House of Representatives voted 116-36 to move forward with a bill that legally replaces the concept of biological sex with that of gender identity. The "Gender Identity Public Accommodations Bill," or H.4343, seeks to further push for transgender "anti-discrimination" laws in three separate parts. First, it would amend multiple areas of Massachusetts law to replace the word "sex," with "gender identity." Secondly, it would mandate that "[a]ny public accommodation…shall grant all persons admission to and the full enjoyment of such public accommodation or other entity consistent with the person’s gender identity," while finally ordering the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination to amend rules and policies to comply with the redefinition of sex to gender identity. "We are doing the work the founders of our nation intended for us to do," said co-sponsor Byron Rushing of the bill prior to its passage. "This is a great day for us and we should be very proud."

Yep, I would think that many who voted for this, don't believe it to be true, they simply do not want to be labeled as a hater. This Political Correctness gone wild, can only send more Democrats over to Trump, I hope.
Perhaps more accurately, the people are voting repeatedly to be represented, governed, and judged by the insane.
But, this being Massachusetts, would putting local Republicans into these positions be expected to yield a much different result?
In my view, the people are sovereign for about 12 hours on the first Tuesday in November every two years. And that is only until the politicians figure out how to do away with elections entirely.
Otherwise, we are increasingly subjects - or perhaps specimens is a better word - to be exposed to whatever new concept of social engineering is popular with the ruling class at the moment.
Does anyone know how radical this is?
This opens the door for:
* If someone wants to be a women today and decides to use the shower at the YMCA as women, your wife and or daughters cannot complain.
* The person in a state of flux, has more Civil Rights when this is signed by the Governor that you or your family members will.
* If I got this bill right, if you tell someone do not use that restroom my wife or daughter is in their, you are subject to 1 yr in jail and a $2500 fine.
IMHO if I have my facts correct this is far worse than many imagine...

Our ancesters came here seeking gender equality and now they have it. Men are women, women are men, children are neutral and can be molested at will, and all of the historical values of my generation’s rights and independence swirl around as they go down the toilet.
It’s a discredited concept, since it has done nothing but divide and hurt people. But it does have a political meaning, and not a nice one. I hope we’re not stuck with it.
The irony is that when you ignore it completely in real life it is sometimes misinterpreted as racism, instead of its opposite. Because people are looking for racism.
We just have to live and learn. Love is the real medium of exchange.

The urinals would necessarily need to be torn out of the men’s rooms.
If someone self-identifies as a male and sees the urinals, it could upset their delicate identity disorder.
Inability to spend productive time at the urinal is societal discrimination.
All men’s rooms will need individual trash receptacles in the stalls for ‘that time of the month’ debris.
Men’s rooms will necessarily require feminine products dispensers installed.

Please stop using the term “biological sex”.
It has no meaning, other than the simple noun “sex”, and it implies that one’s sex needs modification by an adjective (biological) for clarity, when nothing is more clear than that,
You know, you are absolutely right. Your example is just another case where journalists and idiots add modifiers to things that should not be modified. It’s akin to them saying, “Very Unique.”
It happened when we banned God and His Natural Laws, the laws that operate the universe that He created, and then gave credit for that "Divine creation" to random happenstance.
Perhaps God, in His absolute wisdom is giving us a glimpse of just what the world will be like without His laws. The question is, will we see and understand?
