Paris Becomes Massive Camp for Illegal Migrants
Gatestone Institute ^ | 6/6/16 | Soeren Kern

Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo has announced plans to build a "humanitarian camp" next to one of the busiest train stations in the city, so that thousands of illegal migrants bound for Britain can "live with dignity."

Hidalgo, who has often sparred with French President François Hollande for his refusal to accept more migrants, says her plan to help illegal migrants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East is a "duty of humanism."

At a press conference on May 31, Hidalgo said the camp would be built in northern Paris "near the arrival points for migrants." She was referring to Gare du Nord — one of the busiest railway stations in Europe — from where high-speed Eurostar trains travel to and arrive from London.

Thousands of illegal migrants, many from Afghanistan, Eritrea and Sudan, have gathered at a nearby public park, the Jardins d'Eole, and turned the area into a massive squatter camp where conditions are squalid. The area, which is so dangerous that the government has classified it as a no-go zone (Zone de sécurité prioritaires, ZSP), has become a magnet for human traffickers has become a magnet for human traffickers who charge migrants thousands of euros for fake travel documents, for passage to London..

Hidalgo said her new camp, which will be built within six weeks, would be modelled on Grande-Synthe, a massive migrant camp near the French port city of Dunkirk.

[snip]

Hidalgo, who has threatened to file a lawsuit against the American media outlet Fox News for reporting about Muslim no-go zones in Paris, seems to have no qualms about turning parts of northern Paris into ghettos for illegal migrants.

Oh, not to worry. There’ll plenty of room from Jews leaving because of increased antisemitism; which is to say over and above what France was doing on a regular basis.

More often than not hellholes are created with the best of intentions.

Send them to Rome. This pope can’t get enough of them….pointing the finger of blame at nations that are being overrun by militant Muslims, while the Vatican accepts a Syrian family or two.

Beautiful old train station Gare du Nord. But 6 months before we went to Paris in 2007 the Muslims rioted in the station causing all kinds of mayhem because one of their own was arrested at the station for theft. They’ll feel right at home in the area.

Well yeah, what is Dunkirk but a hellhole? And they’re going to model it on that? At any rate, they’ve got the right idea., Camps are what’s needed. With plenty of guards and barbed wire.

I’ve been to Paris a few times in the last decades. The place is crowded, dirty, rude and full of arab pickpockets and thieves. I can’t understand where it got its “romantic” image. Besides a few tourist sites from their long-abandoned Christian heritage, the place is a sh**hole.

While it is true that hellholes are crested by good intentions the situation in Paris is not one of those

Since st least the days of Jacues Chirac as mayor Paris, the political class of the city have been lifted out if obscurity and have had their political careers groomed and financed by Arab Oil money and they are totally beholden to their Muslim masters

The EU Elite are bought and owned by wealthy Muslim oil sheiks and they do Muslim their masters bidding Without question or hesitation

Chirac was prov en to have had his career financed by Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to the tune of at least 60 million euros and more than repaid Saddam's investment

The same French who bravely resisted Mickey Mouse and Mickey D's have rolled over and sold out Radical Islam

Me too. My father lived his last 20 years in Italy near Assisi so my wife and kids used that as a base camp to travel Europe for years.

The thrill is gone but glad we went when we did. Made travel bugs of our kids.

And now even staying home is getting polluted. ...

I’ve been saying for more than a decade that I expect to see concentration camps in Europe in my lifetime. The only question is Who will be running them?

I am not at all happy to be making this prediction.
