Watch: Hillary Refuses Say Right to Bear Arms Is a ‘Constitutional Right’
Breitbart ^ | 5 Jun 2016 | Pam Key

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton refused to say conclusively the Second Amendment is a constitutional right and that it “is subject to reasonable regulations.”

Partial transcript as follows:

STEPHANOPOULOS: Let’s talk about the Second Amendment. As you know Donald Trump has been out on the stump talking about the Second Amendment saying you want to abolish the Second Amendment. I know you reject that but a specific question, do you believe an individual’s right to bear arms is a Constitutional right, that it’s not linked to service in a militia?

I know you reject that...

If he knows that, then why ask it? He’s trying to make an editorial point on his position by getting Ms Cankles to agree with him. That’s why I never watch that clown anymore.

He should just ask the damn questions instead of injecting his own opinion into the discussions.

It is a natural right.

That's true. It's a Constitutionally protected natural right. Take away the Constitutional protection and it's still a right.

MOLON LAVE!

Yep! I was watching FOX today and during the interview they asked if she believed that the 2nd. Amendment was a valid Constitunal right.

In her criminal mind she was totaly able to circumvent a direct answer but spewed forth that even though it was in the Bill of Rights it did not give one the right to keep and bear arms without some specific rules and requirements to be able to comply with the Amendment’s contents.

The interviewer never got the direct answer from her...just a bunch of “we need to....” and “everything in the Bill of Rights comes with strings attached!”

I almost threw my beer bottle at the new TV screen!

Here is an easy Gun Control Law to fix the problem:

All Persons that have anyone in their employ or employed on their behalf in possession of Any Firearm, Weapon, or Ammunition, SHALL be guilty of a Felony, punishable by a Mandatory Sentence of not less than 10 years in Prison and a $20 Million fine, plus penalties, fees, and assessments if they do not Possess a VALID and Current, License or permit to Carry a Concealed Weapon and have in their possession a First Class Medical Certificate at ALL TIMES.

Problem Solved!!

If I can NOT fly my airplanes without a Valid Medical Certificate, why should ANYONE be Allowed to have a HIRED GUN in their employ or employed on their behalf, if they don’t also possess the same???

STEPHANOPOULOS: “...do you believe an individual’s right to bear arms is a Constitutional right, that it’s not linked to service in a militia?”

Frankly, I’m very surprised that Stephy asked that question of Hillary. It honestly strikes right at the core of the standard Democrat argument, that the 2nd is a collective right, not an individual right.

Naturally, Hillary refused to give him a straight answer, and danced around like a typical politician. She knows better than to openly touch that third rail - even among her sycophantic supporters.

In too much of the country it (2A) is a privilege doled out at the discretion of the gov’t.

After the Gun Control Act of 1968, the 2nd Amendment became a privilege. It is the ONLY "Right" that requires gov approval to exercise, and they can take it away much easier than most people think.

Noting that Hillary attended Yale Law School, whatever they’re teaching at Yale, it’s certainly not the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers as the Founding States had intended for those powers to be understood.

For example, one thing that Hillary evidently didn’t learn in law school is that a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting justices had clarified that powers not delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, so-called federal power to regulate privately owned firearms for example, are prohibited to the feds.

”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.

In fact, it is disturbing that federal gun laws regulating private firearms don’t seem to have appeared in the books (corrections welcome) until FDR was president, FDR and the Congress at that time infamous for making laws that they couldn’t justify under Congress’s constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

Franklin Roosevelt: The Father of Gun Control

Also, note that Attorney Stephen P. Holbrook has indicated in his book “Securing Civil Rights” that one of the purposes of the 14th Amendment with respect to the 2nd Amendment was to prohibit the states from preventing freedmen from using firearms to protect themselves.

Finally, note that the courts have been clarifying that police protection is not a constitutional right.

Just Dial 911? The Myth of Police Protection

The Founding States had made the 2nd Amendment so that individual citizens could be their own police.

Remember in November !

When patriots elect Trump, they also need to elect a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision to make America great again, but also repeal all federal laws that Congress cannot justify under its Section 8-limited powers.

Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.

Huma’s problem is not her eyesight. It's her honesty.

No problem! If elected, as soon as she takes the oath of office, impeach her for perjury. Then execute her for treason.
