I just installed a current-model TOTO 1.5 gpl (gallons per flush) toilet. They're actually very good at flushing everything in one flush.
Let the developing world die of exposure and skin cancer...
My wife and I have thermostat arguments all the time. I’m comfortable at 78. She wants it nippy at 75. I can tolerate heat, no problem. When it gets cold, I’m miserable. I love to go out fishing on a 95 degree Florida day, and I can stay out most of the day without skipping a beat; but dammit if I don’t love coming home to a cool house and a cold beer.
Not quite right, sorry. The fact is the elite want to DECIDE WHO WILL LIVE-— period!!
Tens of millions of living people have come to the point where their bodies cannot cope with the extremes of heat.
Even now, the health warnings go out when extreme heat is in the forecast. Way beyond comfort in front of the TV, air conditioning is LIFE itself.
So, typically, the ELITEs will come with the regulations and limitations as to who will be allowed to own an air conditioner. You’ll require a prescription from the doctor as well as a A?C Permit.
Snopes has got the info - surprisingly, they checked it as "true" - but of course they minimized as "local conditions".
One of the largest areas of air conditioning is data processing, “computer rooms”. The old swamp coolers would pump out greenhouse gases as water is the largest greenhouse gas. Water vapor causes rain.
But here's proof it is true:

So these brainiacs are ‘worried’ that people in the squelching heat might get the comfort of air conditioning. I hope all those who ‘worry’ about this set an example, and shut their own a/c off.
Fascinating...
I bet it was from that plant that you mentioned. They must have overbuilt it to please ol' Sam. I wish I had bought a couple more for the other bedrooms.
Oh yeah? I challenge it to a duel.
Call me when NBC HQ shuts off their A/C.
I know!
Make all those Indonesians, SE Asians, and Indians take summer jobs in Siberia!
FYI: Neither India, Brazil nor Indonesia have a booming population. Old stereotypes. The fertility rates in Indonesia and Brazil are lower than in the U.S. and no longer adequate to maintain a stable population. There are fewer 1 year olds in India than there are 25-year-olds.
Man, you had me worried there....I was packing my bags and leaving Florida for the mountains.
I want to live in an “habitable” place...(:>))
Globalism is wooooonnnnderful. /s/
The new Gree plant is only about two years plant, but they’re all over China. I actually ran into some AC guys in Mexico who were down there starting up a Chinese AC plant.
Don't do that, turn it onto high then open all your windows and doors to cool the outside......
Just think, if everyone did that we could cool the planet and turn the tide on global warming........
To some researchers, though, the raw count of how many people are killed in a heat wave overstates its public-health impact. They have found what is called displaced mortality, or, more morbidly, a harvesting effect. In other words, death rates surge during a heat wave but then dip, according to these findings, which implies that the heat killed people who were already close to death and would have died soon after.
Generally it is not our aim to avoid deaths, because eventually people will die, said Anton E. Kunst, associate professor in public health at the University of Amsterdam. It is to lengthen life. From this perspective, heat-related mortality becomes less important if it mainly affects people who are anyhow at the end of their lives.
Bioethicist: Who cares if dying elderly people die from extreme heat?
Aha, Occam’s razor! The simple solution is best.
