Bill Kristol’s Candidate: It’s ‘Important to Say’ White Working Class Communities ‘Deserve to Die’
Breitbart ^ | Breitbart | Breitbart

Posted on 06/01/2016 9:43:36 AM PDT by Brookhaven

While Donald Trump has called on the GOP to become a “worker’s party”— a development Sen. Jeff Sessions called for two years ago, ironically, in the pages of the National Review— French has defended the idea that white working-class communities “deserve to die.”

Specifically, French wrote a piece in support of Kevin D. Williamson, who had said:

The truth about these dysfunctional, downscale communities is that they deserve to die. Economically, they are negative assets. Morally, they are indefensible. Forget all your cheap theatrical Bruce Springsteen crap. Forget your sanctimony about struggling Rust Belt factory towns and your conspiracy theories about the wily Orientals stealing our jobs. Forget your goddamned gypsum, and, if he has a problem with that, forget Ed Burke, too. The white American underclass is in thrall to a vicious, selfish culture whose main products are misery and used heroin needles. Donald Trump’s speeches make them feel good. So does OxyContin. What they need isn’t analgesics, literal or political. They need real opportunity, which means that they need real change, which means that they need U-Haul.

French insists that the devastation of the working-class’ livelihoods is unrelated to failed federal policies such as mass immigration:

[I] have seen the challenges of the white working-class first-hand. Simply put, Americans are killing themselves and destroying their families at an alarming rate. No one is making them do it. The economy isn’t putting a bottle in their hand. Immigrants aren’t making them cheat on their wives or snort OxyContin. Obama isn’t walking them into the lawyer’s office to force them to file a bogus disability claim.

When readers responded with outrage to French’s piece, French doubled down in a post entitled “The Great White Working-Class Debate: Just Because I’m ‘Nasty’ Doesn’t Mean I’m Wrong.”

“Would YOU consider moving to Vietnam to get a job?”

I did say that it involved creating a good labor environment, meaning, a supply of educated, highly skilled people. I’d say that our educational system is producing about 90% of graduates with educations and skills roughly equivalent to Vietnamese rice farmers, except that ours would have considerable knowledge about how white people have committed crimes against other peoples over the centuries.

Did you read where coal ash has been discovered to contain significant quantities of rare earth? There’s a new ancillary industry right there.

And nobody is even talking about French all but putting his wife in a chastity belt when he was in the army.

Before David left for Iraq, he and Nancy put together rules, in a painfully honest conversation about human frailty. There would be no drinking during the year of separation. Nancy would not “have phone conversations with men, or meaningful e-mail exchanges about politics or any other subject.” Nor would she be on Facebook, where “the ghosts of boyfriends past” could contact her. When Nancy innocently started e-mailing about faith with a man associated with a radio show she was on, she told David about it, and he asked her to end the relationship. David knew, with his “stomach clenching,” that “the most intimate conversations a person has are about life and faith” — and that “spiritual and emotional intimacy frequently leads to physical intimacy.”

She could not talk on the phone with a man

She could not use Facebook

She could not drink

She could not email a man on any subject

David French is going to go over great with women.

“I did say that it involved creating a good labor environment, meaning, a supply of educated, highly skilled people.”

So your plan is to make everybody above average.

Do you really think that will work?

You cannot appreciate what these faux Conservatives are about, unless you understand the anti-American values system into which Bill Kristol was raised:

Neocon Phenomenon.

Let’s see French man up and write a column about wanting the black inner city inhabitants to die. After all, they’re a bigger drain on America than any white guy.

I wonder if French wants to build concentration camps.

Funny we been fighting the left for so long we forgot our old enemy...Royalty or the nobility or whatever these aholes think they are

But bottom line these people see the middle/working class as serfs and peasants that should learn to sit down and shut up and mind their better...

It like we have fallen into a time warp and its 1776 and we are dealing with King George and a nobility ruling class telling us to go to hell

really this whole group is basically telling us “eat cake”.... it's truly unreal...

French is not saying that people in economically depressed areas should kill themselves. He is saying that they should move, and he is right.

Oh, this is rich!

I thought it was only working-class people who cheated on their spouses. He said that in the Breitbart excerpt.

We got one sick puppy here. This is another Kristol ‘potatoe’ moment.

When I read stuff like this, it makes me think that the RINO GOP has no clue why Trump has the appeal to the base that he does, by and large. They think that he's nothing more than a blustering fool who makes windy pronouncements that resonate with what they perceive as narrow-minded, pinhead electorate. The plan is to deploy their own windy bigot, to dilute his influence. Just as long as he's loud and brash, that ought to be enough, right? The Thunderdome Conservatives will eat it right up, right?

Which is exactly how Democrats see the Conservative base.
RINOs = Democrats.

Speaking of RINOs, here's something I ran across a few minutes ago- the symbolism is just too much. An Elephant charging a RINO (This came from Schwarzenegger's Youtube channel, he's in the car).

Move where, exactly? I’m in NYC, supposedly the most prosperous city in the USA outside of Washington DC, and there are plenty out-of-work people here too. And, no, I’m not talking about ghetto thugs.

You're a pathetic liar and apologist as usual. What French is saying is that all these people suffering from the trade policies he supports are drug addicts who deserve eradication. They're on "oxycotin" and "can't be bothered to look for jobs" for "more than a few hours."

The definition of “good jobs outsourced” is going up and up and up. No one seems to worry about this...until it involves them.

It reminds me of the poem:

"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."
