Attorney David M. Friedman, one of Donald trump's two advisors on Israel, told Arutz Sheva in an exclusive interview that Donald Trump has assured him he will not pressure Israel into "peace processes" and concessions that it does not want.
Ive known Donald Trump for about 15 years," he said, in a conversation with Dr. Joseph Frager. "I met him in the context of being his lawyer, and weve become friends over the years. He know how much I love Israel, and hopefully people who read Arutz Sheva know how much I love Israel because I write a column for Arutz Sheva as often as I can.
Trump "wanted an advisor who he knew loved Israel," Friedman explained. "So I hope people can take comfort in the fact that hes taking advice from me. Because theres obviously hundreds of people in New York who have thoughts about Israel to the right, to the left, and the middle and he chose someone who he knows has a deep love for Israel. For all of Israel, for the entire Land of Israel. So that alone says something about his feelings. He has a very strong view as to whos wrong and whos right in the Israeli Palestinian conflict. He remembers very well who was dancing on the roofs at 9/11 and who was mourning, who was crying. He has an innate sense of the issues and the problems, but most importantly he knows whos right and whos wrong.
"I have his assurances that hes not going to pressure Israel to do things that are not in Israels best interest. If Israel wants to pursue a peace process hes happy to help. But hes not going to pressure Israel into things that it doesnt want to do," Friedman stressed.

Agreed. ( but he’s still looking tremendously better than Bernie or Hillary!)
That is extremely easy to do, and he’s gone beyond the minimum by a great deal.
Well that’s what he said all along. Everybody took that one quote that Israel would have to make concessions out of context to spin it that Trump would force them to make them. What he said was if they wanted to reach an agreement they would have to make some concessions, while noting that they have already made many and get no credit for it. Does anybody think the Arabs would make peace without getting something in return? Of course they won’t make peace anyway, and I think he’s naïve on the depth of hatred and intransigence on the part of the Arabs, but still he was just stating the obvious.
agreed.
HIllary is sold out to the IslamoNazis (actually taking over $100,000,000.00 in just recent ‘contributions’ from IslamoNazi Muslim dicators and their associates on the Arabian peninsula).
Bernie is a JINO (Jew in Name Only) who, like a number of such people, has turned on his people and advocates policies against Jews and Christian faith principles, alike... all in the Holy Name of Marx.
they are both terrible, terrible losers for the D party, USA, and our allies including Israel
Even better can he walk on water?
If he walked on water, the next day’s headline would be “Trump Can’t Swim.”
Probably!
What makes you doubt him on this?
He's been consistent since he first mentioned Israel - he originally said the "peace" talks were pretty much a waste because they put all the onus on Israel and that would not fly. He has recently encouraged Israel to keep building in the Gaza strip.
Others have claimed support for Israel, Trump has spelled it out. And he didn't use cursive because he wanted more folks to be able to understand what he was saying.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me. ..................
Reasonable position, one I haven't seen in action from candidates of either party.
There are more Arabs and they have oil. That’s why I doubt any candidate until I see what he does.
“He has recently encouraged Israel to keep building in the Gaza strip.”
Are you sure he didn’t say Judah and Samaria, or the “west bank”?
ummm I hope he didn’t say that about building in the Gaza strip....
Believe it was Judah and Sumeria, but Gaza gets heard/seen so often it sticks in my mind like an illegal in San Francisco....
My second major boner in the last week - screwed up and used Alito's name when I meant Scalia - gotta wipe the red off my face and get back to irritating folks....
