Western Civilization is a shining diamond in world history and one facet of that beauty is the fundamental principle that men and women are created equal.
There is no doubt that our culture has some enormous flaws, but treating women with respect, as equals, is definitely not one of them.

Several weeks ago, I stated that the presidency of the U.S (the most important job in the world) was a MAN’S job..got flamed plenty for that one.

Pastors/priests/etc of most Christian denominations tend to be among the most feminine voices in the public square. The reason is that they cater to the women of the congregation, because in most churches it is the WOMEN who decide what church they wish to (or not wish to) attend and donate to. The pastors who offend their women soon wind up without a congregation.
Hence they will rail on in their sermons about all the things which are men's fault. They will talk about "Peter Pan" men who refuse to grow up and get married.
They will ignore the topic of women who spend their 20's chasing after the exciting "bad boys", and ignoring the good men with jobs, Then these women arrive at their 30's (the point where the exciting bad boys lose interest) with the expectation that NOW they are ready to settle down with a good man, who is expected to pay no attention to the number of men they've screwed while "finding themselves", and be overjoyed to marry their rapidly-gaining-weight selves.
And if a wife decides to divorce-rape her husband, for no reason other than she was bored with him, then the pastors will declare that it was all the man's fault, never the wife's.
And up until the last century or so, Western Civilization evolved to it's high levels with women having little say in how it was governed. Women had legal rights, and were to be held equal in value and dignity, but mostly were not given a role in running things outside their own families.

Men and women are not equivalent any more than men and children, or women and children, or men and dogs. Each has a defined role to play in the hierarchy, or should the children rule over the mother and the mother over the father, and the father over God? That’s not Christianity and only became western civilization after we started declining.

Christianity stresses that women are to be valued equally as men which is appropriate but only up until recently have women been considered equal

And the extent to which we have elevated women in many cases over that of men is a symptom of a culture in decline not ascendancy
Though I don’t blame women for the power they have been given
After nearly 60 years of observing and loving and raising and being cared for and later being responsible for women I think they are not the equal of men in ways beyond physical generally speaking
The history of the world was not what it was because men are assholes but rather a reality men understood as did women

What tickles me though is my ancestral lady relatives a few generations ago whom I knew as a boy actually were women who I thought had guts and steel but they didn’t crow about it or scream for validation
Those women were a lot tougher and yet maternal and they weren’t as strident yet faced much more hardship

Women should not be allowed the vote. There is no reason they should not be able to run for office, though, as they would be competing with men for men's votes.
This, of course is an aggregate. Individual women don't fit that but you can't select the electorate by individual psych tests. It must be done in easily identifiable categories, such as all male adults, or all owners of a certain amount of property, et al.
Isn’t it funny how people can sit through a video like this and not get it? They think it’s a dig on females but what it is demonstrating is the different way that men and women approach problem solving and security.

Today I only see Muslims as male dominant. Yes are capable of cowardly acts on innocents but they will never prevail in the long run.
The church has been run by men only for thousands of years and is in shambles though I don’t think having women helping run the church would have helped.
Women are here to stay.
The voice in leadership is changing.
That the messages of Trump seems to be resonating gives me hope.
I call it Hope and Prayer because we still don’t know how effective he will be.
Trying to lay blame at the place of women at this point is counter productive.
Yeah WOW....there are some MEN who are not fooled by the Gloria Steinham outlook....a real woman knows that she does not need special(equality) treatment. I am chivalrous and proud to treat a woman as a woman.....you do and think what you want....I’m not bothered ...at all by much of anything. When people call me an asshole I reply “why thank you for noticing!”
You must really hate children! I think they’re fantastic, personally, but it’s always better if they’re not in the room when the men are discussing matters of importance.
