...because deporting people who are in a country illegally is the moral and legal equivalent to murdering your own citizens... /sarcasm

Bill Weld and Gary Johnson are even more stupid than I thought.

I expect that from libertarians for whom national sovereignty isn’t a central value.

The reference in that light is both tasteless and ghoulish.

Do Johnson and Weld believe in America? Apparently not.

One reason why in a federal election voting Libertarian is stupid, and I can’t believe went for this guy in 2012, I was stupid myself back then.

The Libertarian Party isn't libertarian. It's basically the GOPe on pot.

You know, it seems to me that the Libertarian Party (such as it is) has been totally hijacked by some Cheap Labor Express Group. I remember reading their official platform a couple of years ago and found little in it I disagreed with.

However, looking at it a couple of days ago, it seemed to me that it had been almost completely rewritten and bore little resemblance to what I remembered, and in particular, the STRONG implied support for illegal immigration and globalism was shocking and definitely something not there two years ago.

Keeping people out of a country is not the same as putting millions in ovens.

Trump's pro Second Amendment position alone defies comparison to Nazis. So to Gary Johnson and Bill Weld;

Interesting that the Libertarian candidate is suddenly getting extensive interviews and media coverage. Gee, couldn’t be because the elites are clinging to hope that it might derail Trump?

This is actually a good development for Trump. These clowns will draw more votes from hitlery than Trump.
The danger for Trump would have been if the libturds had nominated someone (eg. the Pauls) who would run to Trump’s right on some issues.

If murdering millions of their own people is necessary to get declared a "Holocaust" and therefore being able to infiltrated hundreds of thousands of subversives into our country in order to commit demographic warfare...

... our enemies will gladly set up dozens of "Holocausts."

They are certainly not geniuses!

Nothing is more truly a libertarian principle--regardless of what some "Libertarians" may claim--than the right of a people to preserve their heritages--their achievements, cultural, material & spiritual--for their kith & kin; for their posterity, down through the generations.

Diverse groups--but specific diverse groups--originally settled in distinct communities, prior to the America that arose in the counter Revolution of 1775 -1781; very definitely with such preservation in mind. They intended not only to preserve heritage, of course, but to build on that heritage, generation by generation.

This experience is basic to understanding not only traditional American values--those that have been consistently rejected by the Leftist movements of the past century;--but also why before those Leftist movements started sucking our vitality away with crackpot agitations--we so clearly out-performed the rest of the world. Those specifically American sub-cultures unleashed the dynamic processes that made us out-perform.

Are Johnson & Weld in any sense comparable to Thomas Jefferson, as champions for American libertarian values? Dare they suggest that they are comparable? There is no question where Thomas Jefferson would stand with respect to the millions of Hispanic migrants, illegally in the Untied States. As Jefferson explained to Congress after the Louisiana purchase, he made the purchase--cutting legal corners to do so--precisely to establish a buffer between an Hispanic & Anglo world.

He was not, nor am I in any sense hostile to the well being of Mexico or Central America. But there is an immense cultural divide between the Anglo/Celtic culture of the Founding Fathers and that of contemporary Mexico; or that of Mexico in 1803 & 1804. May we both prosper; but may we both succeed in preserving our distinct heritages. And we do not need rioting Hispanics trying to alter our politics, or values or our preferences to achieve those ends.

is my door going to be knocked down because I'm going to get checked for papers?

Are you in this country illegally?

Are we going to go in these homes and take these people out of their homes?

Do we do that to bank robbers who did not actually physically hurt anyone?

"And you've got to forget a lot of things to think it's a good idea to round up and deport 11 million people living peaceably, most of them working in America, in the middle of the night,"

Nope, SWAT teams NEVER conduct operations at 3am right?

But OK, we can round up the illegal aliens during the day. It will save on overtime.

And then Mr. Weld gets skewered by Poland's ambassador to the U.S.

"Considering the discourse Mr. Weld's assertions have evoked, we believe it is imperative for all journalists to note the historical inaccuracies of his words and inform their respective audiences,"

So, Bill, can you hear the sound of your reputation being "crunched" under the plain shoe of the truth?

.

All of the GOP candidates, except for Trump, took the same side as Gary Johnson, one in particular likened Trump’s immigration plan to Nazism (Cruz).
