I heard the beginning of Rush in the car - he was saying that the Trump-Bernie debate was brilliant. He was going to say why and then I had to leave the car - can anyone fill me in?
I supported Cruz. Roger Stone's stunts are despicable (as usual) and deserve to be reviled. OTOH, Mark Levin, whom I generally admire, is way off the reservation on this. He is beginning to lose it two cycles in a row. Last time, he supported Moral Monster Mitt Romney and encouraged conservatives to join him.
This time, he would have us abandon the duly nominated choice of Republican voters who, unlike Romney, conspicuously REFUSED to use corrupt Wall Street, K Street, Chamber of Commerce $$$$$ and, instead of ignoring the base, had the backbone to support many of the issue positions that mean the most to the base.
Has he changed his mind?????

Cruz supporters are pouters. Nothing Trump does - not his suggestions of his picks for the supremes has moved them - will move them. I mean is Levin really going to change his mind??
Levin is too busy diggin in his heels, and holding his breath til he turns blue! (Such a shame that a man once admired and listened to, has shown himself to be a bully that has temper tantrums if he doesnt get his way!)

I’m not sure that Trump is anti-small government. Social Security is one area that he doesn’t want to cut. That doesn’t mean he isn’t going to tear through the rest of the budget.

Since Laura was gone decided to listen to Rush and got to the first Pro-Trump caller who said debating Bernie was brilliant in perhaps picking off Bernie supporters. Rush said it would be better to go after #NeverTrumpers than Bernie supporters and proves Trump is a liberal. click.

The subject Rush still won’t touch. There is one way for Trump to appeal to the Bernie supporters and that involves bad trade deals and all the factories and jobs that have moved to cheap labor nations as a result. Bernie talks about that and his supporters agree.
That might be the only critical issue where they agree, but it should be a strong appeal to Bernie supporters and every vote counts.
