Well the one in DC is 60 years old and was dedicated by President Eisenhower.
The oldest one in DC was dedicated in December 10, 1960 but it’s a long way from embassy row.
Masjid Muhammad, “the Nation’s Mosque”, was dedicated in 1960.

Another thing about Obama and his housing has me curious. Possibly I missed the explanation. That is why we heard so much about the house in Hawaii that was being prepared for him and family at the beginning of his presidency. All about security etc. Is our govt still paying for the first residence? Then next I hear that he is vacationing in Hawaii at various other houses. No mention of why that is if he has a home there already. Recently the press began putting out that he will be staying in DC after he leaves office. Now another house. Ground work by the press to ease him into his newest residence. Who is paying for this latest shelter? I must admit that Obama has done quite well on govt salary.
The question that hasn't been addressed is who is providing this house to him, who is going to pay the alleged $2,000 + per month rent and who is going to continue to pay the tuition of his offspring at their exclusive prep school?
How much is a presidential pension once they leave office and how much has their bank account increased while he was in office?
We know how Gore and the Clintons amassed their fortunes, but Obama is still in office.......
