We all did except Rush and Cruz supporters. Although Rush did say it was a mistake for Cruz to enter that arena. What saddened me is that Rush didn’t see the humor in those guys. I compared them to Froggie the Gremlin - the anarchistic frog from The Andy Devine Show which was a favorite of baby boomer children. They intercepted every dramatic pause that Cruz made with an insult - the modus operandi of Froggie before someone blew him up.

I’m laughing just remembering it. It was a perfect defining moment. Crafted Harvard pomposity versus classic American bluntness and skepticism. Not even a contest. It’s worth a celebrity deathmatch episode on its own!

It was amazing.

And if it had been Trump or Clinton or Bernie or Obama taken down, Rush would have been as excited as we are today remembering it. A defining moment for Cruz but I doubt he learned anything from it except to avoid ordinary Americans in the future.

Funny, even though I’ve been disappointed with Rush lately, I still have a very high regard for him.

Count me as one who has lost respect for Rush. I've listened to him for years and what's happened with him over the past few months is total BS. And, to say yesterday, he wouldn't endorse Trump was the icing on the cake!

Rush lurks here on FR all the time, we are the only site he never mentions. In fact if you want to know what his show is about read back on FR about 12 hours to before the show.

All is forgiven, particularly when we wipe the floor in November. Rush and Levin were partisan who entertained opposition. Beck would not hear of any primary opposition to Senator Cruz.

I think El Rushbo and The Great One are on their way back.

Sadly, I never contributed on the Tony Snow threads. I wasn't aware of his radio show until it was too late (it wasn't on in my radio market). I followed him on Fox News though.

Tony was the best... A total class act. I miss him dearly...
