Most common instructed auto pistol grip is the shooting hand supported or resting in the other hand however feels most natural

She’s using the hand clasp grip which is maybe favored by girls....my wife instinctively grips that way

I confess I often don’t use plugs all the time either

Only with the boomers....357 or 44 or 300 Win Mag or .54 Jaeger or .45 long colt

I don’t grip like she is doing in that picture, either. I cup my right hand in my left.

I always use hearing protection, and even then, the noise is intense.
