Former President Bill Clinton, sprinting through the Central Valley ahead of California's looming primary, urged Democrats on Monday to "relax" about his wife Hillary's general election prospects, with recent polls showing Donald Trump running even with - or ahead of - the likely Democratic nominee.

Clinton's remarks Monday, without citing polling worrisome to many Democrats, served to counter Sanders' argument that he is the better candidate to oppose Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee. Clinton said his wife has faced opposition from Republicans for years and that her campaign will "get a new shot when the general election starts."
"Just relax," Clinton told about 800 supporters at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center in Stockton. "In the end, the American people are fundamentally fair-minded."
A loss to Sanders in California, though not critical to Hillary Clinton’s near-certain nomination, would nevertheless deal her a blow heading into the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia in July.

I once worked in a company that was doing something so stupid that it risked their very existence. My estimate of their chances and that of other disinterested parties was that they had zero probability of survival. (We turned out to be correct.) But all the while the people running the place sounded and looked confident, so confident that we believed (correctly as it turned out) that they had spread money along the back channels to ensure they won. (But, they had put the money in the wrong place.) The company folded. The management got golden parachutes and the rest of us got the shaft. I sense the same thing happening here. People on board the SS Clinton should man the life boats.

I want Bernie to win the rest of the primaries so that Hillary gets over the top due to the “superdeligates.” I want to see a knock-down fight at the convention, where Hillary is victorious...but pisses off all the Bernie supporters.
Then, the week after the Convention, I want to see Trump really lay into her and destroy her. I want to see the Democrats in full panic when they realize that Hillary is going to go down and take the party and a lot of people with her.
These are the magic words you tell voters when you know the count is rigged, the absentee ballots are already counted and fake precinct tallies are in production. Who needs the fiction of free and fair elections ballot boxes when you have the DNC.
