I once worked in a company that was doing something so stupid that it risked their very existence. My estimate of their chances and that of other disinterested parties was that they had zero probability of survival. (We turned out to be correct.) But all the while the people running the place sounded and looked confident, so confident that we believed (correctly as it turned out) that they had spread money along the back channels to ensure they won. (But, they had put the money in the wrong place.) The company folded. The management got golden parachutes and the rest of us got the shaft. I sense the same thing happening here. People on board the SS Clinton should man the life boats.
There are cracks showing in the Clinton facade ...... big buddy Gov. Terry McAuliffe just made the headlines (Drudge yesterday, local paper today) that he is under investigation by the FBI for campaign contributions in his 2013 gubernatorial run. T-Mac has been doing all he can to get the Virginia vote for Hilly (like giving 200K felons the right to vote - violent, non-violent, he doesn’t care). Now that he is acknowledged by the news media as looking “crooked” like his pal “Crooked Hillary”, I don’t think it helps here in Virginia & if we’re lucky, it may hurt her (not with the felon vote, but with working class Dems upset with economy, etc.).
Note: we all KNOW the guy is a ‘Rat slimeball scumbag, but he, like the Clintons, is “slicker than eel snot” (as a good friend of mine would say) and a Democrat/Clinntonista so actually getting an investigation by the FBI is unusual. For the media to report/talk about it is unusual as well. Whether the FBI can (or have the will to) pin him down with something is another story. I’m wondering if this isn’t a back door attack by Obama on a close compatriot of the Clintons ..... lots of reasons he might do it.
