Ted Cruz just crushed Donald Trump in Washington State election of GOP delegates
This Week ^ | May 23, 2016 | Peter Weber

Washington State holds its Republican primary on Tuesday, and with one candidate left in the race, there's not too much drama about the outcome. But in a twist — and what would the 2016 race be without a twist? — 40 of Washington's 41 delegates selected Saturday to attend the Republican National Convention in July are Ted Cruz partisans. Cruz supporters outnumbered Donald Trump supporters at the state GOP convention in Pasco, and they were better organized, pushing through the Cruz slate of delegates over occasional protests from Trump backers, who noted repeatedly that Cruz is no longer in the race.

Could care less. Trump needs less then 100 delegates where New Jersey will give him half of them. The only thing I want to see now is Cruz kicked to the curb in 2018.

“40 of Washington’s 41 delegates selected Saturday to attend the Republican National Convention in July are Ted Cruz partisans. “

That’s adorable.

And if they want to pull some stunts at the convention, then they might as well book tickets right out of there and into Canada.

In the Soviet of Washington, Puget Sound GOPes have to go commie so as not be unfriended by their communities.

They’re able to say, “I’m against Trump, just like you,” to maintain progressive street cred with their commie rat pals.

Yeah, well, since Cruz isn’t running anymore...
I’m just saying I’d rather have Cruz delegates representing the non-Trump folks than Kasich.

What is interesting is they are BRAGGING about this.

These are they type of backroom shenanigans that lost Cruz the nomination. Do they not remember the reaction after Colorado?

They are clueless. Totally clueless.

Cruz is the most disgusting candidate in my memory.

Wish I never supported the scheming, globalist LIAR.

If Trump gets all 44 delegates for Washington it will bring him up to 1,205 I believe.

Trump will come to the convention with 1450 delegates almost 1000 more than Cruz and Crush him.

There's nothing like a good baby CanadianCruz seal clubbing, I'll say!

Don’t be so gay. It was a western movie reference. 3:10 to Yuma, get it? Coulda said “high noon”. You sound like those ninnies who thought Sarah “targeting” Giffords for defeat in an election is what got her shot.

Getting rid of Ted Cruz is like trying to get gum off the bottom of your shoe.

Long ago, I was a Cruzer. But he now reminds me of Bernie Sanders, in his manipulation of the delegates (in that he is fighting a lost cause and only causing more angst in Republicans). I am embarrassed I ever supported Cruz.
