Here is a list of the Republican Senators who backed this left-wing agenda (most of the names won’t surprise you):

Lamar Alexander
Kelly Ayotte
Roy Blunt
Richard Burr
Dan Coats
Thad Cochran
Susan Collins
Lindsey Graham
Orrin Hatch
John Hoeven
Johnny Isakson
Mark Kirk
John McCain
Lisa Murkowski
Rob Portman
Thom Tillis

These republican dirt bags need to be replaced.

If any good comes from this it will be that many Liberals will see first hand what Conservatives know, and might convert a few.

I live on 20 acres, 10 miles outside town, surrounded by thousand acre ranches that have been in the same families for generations. If I want to see a 40 point buck I almost have to drive to Waco, or one of the prison units near here.

But do Georgetown in Washington DC first.

Virtually all of them need to be replaced, anyway! Even without this legislation.

It’d be nice to read something about how AFH is implemented and how that violates 4A...but I don’t get it from this article.

The principle our country was founded upon was not equality. It was freedom.

The French revolution was about equality.

Effectively, AFFH regulations will eliminate local zoning in 1,200 cities and counties (see if yours is on the list) by mandating new federal rules based on race and income that will override all local jurisprudence.

My town is on 'the list', but that's a 2013 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) expenditures for cities/towns in the US.
So are these CDBG receiving municipalities automatically switching to this new HUD scheme? If your municipality isn't already taking Block Grants, they will be spared? If you ever took a Block Grant you are automatically on the hook and can't get out of it?

I have the same questions. The article shines light on all this but doesn’t do a very good job at answering the questions.

Not quite yet, but they are feverishly working to destroy American heritage, culture and language.

Very sad, America, the greatest nation on the planet, dying a slow death.

Yes, it would have been helpful if the author had briefly discussed the details of implementation in this article. The devil is always in the details.

I wonder what this new agency rule (yet another example of regulations taking the place of duly enacted laws) will cost the American taxpayer to subsidize home ownership in areas that are beyond the financial means of people? You can bet the price tag will be huge.

:: HUD is clearly behind the times, writing new housing rules that pretend first-time home buyers face an epic level of racism ::

Interesting.

Could it be that the minority children living in their parents homes are being tossed out by the very same parents to raise their children so that mom and dad can have a life that doesn’t involve babysitting?

White folk just be lettin’ the kids stick around and wander from job-to-welfare-to-job.

Hey YT, tho’em out!

Yep, it also looks like a “non-article” to me. By definition, any law impacting property rights can be framed as a 4th amendment violation. This’d include existing stuff like building codes or anti discrimination in the sales of real estate.

When the article references criminals - that one I’ve heard of before. Landlords are typically allowed to do criminal background checks on prospective tenants. As long as they did it for all applicants it was ok and not considered discriminatory. Now, the feds have jumped in and said any background check is discriminatory.

I assume the point of this article is in the same vein, but don’t see it either.
