BEIJING — China's attempts to claim a nearly 1.4-million-square-mile swathe of open ocean are without precedent and probably without legal merit, but Beijing continues to assert its right to the economically critical zone — and increasingly puts its claims in military terms.
Speaking to a small group of reporters in Beijing on Thursday, a high-ranking Chinese official made his warning clear: The United States should not provoke China in the South China Sea without expecting retaliation.

China is seriously, seriously dangerous. This government has LOADS of human rights issues, and they attack things and take over lands while saying “See you what made us do?”
I’ve never been more afraid of what China will do than I am today. Luckily, China thinks that our actual land belongs to them (And why not ? The US government lists it as collateral. Reid, Biden, et al actually make these deals)
This is the only thing keeping them at bay from actually attacking us. They are making deals with the White Hut to make us slaves - providing their food and resources because they own deed.
I fear going muzzle-to-muzzle with Chicom FAR more than I do Islam.

Obama is complacent in this. Remember a few months ago when he sent a warship over there just to piss them off ? He’s playing a move as if he was TOLD to do it.
There was no benefit for Soetoro. Why did he do this ? It’s as if he was told to do it just to go through some motions. To put on the kabuki theater.
Those fake islands:
1. Weren’t designed to last 5 years.
2. Were designed for ports during naval strike operations

They plan on moving naval forces in the next year or so.
They are GOING to attack someone. This is going to happen.
A country doesn’t build fake islands for fun or training.

Well, that, and the fact that they are strictly a regional power that doesn’t really have the means to attack us directly, unless they intend to escalate to ICBMs right off the bat.
Now, they could attack Japan, or India, or the Philippines, other US interests or allies in the region, but they have no means to cross an open ocean to wage war.
No. They do it to establish dry land and extend claims to territorial waters in the So China Sea. Lets not get hysterical here. These "islands" could be demolished with a few cruise missiles.
