Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry predicted during a private phone call Wednesday that presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump could carry more than 35 states in the November election.
“The more I spend time with him, the more I talk with him, the more I see how he has analyzed this country properly at this point in time, I feel very comfortable that we’re going to win,” Perry told donors during a conference call hosted by the pro-Trump Great America PAC.
“I think we have the potential to win overwhelmingly,” he added. “I’m talking a 35, 36, 37-state victory. Just a powerful win in November.

I think Perry endorsed Trump a while ago. I hope his prediction is correct.

Yeah. I’m sure Trump spends all his free time talking to Perry. I doubt he has talked to him at all. Why would he?

I like your choices. I hope Trump will come to the same conclusion about these people.
IMO it will be more like 40+ states and 55+% of the popular vote, but I’ve also have said for about six months that ANY plausible GOP nominee will do so. Which is also when I started saying Trump will be elected. This is a GOP year plus Trump won the GOP nomination when Cruz & Rubio didn’t make a big hairy deal about the December 2015 terrorist attack in San Bernardino. Trump did and is winning.
There are a lot of things I like about Perry. His Mexico and illegals bum kissing was not one of them. He gave illegals in-state college tuition rates.
But he did build business in Texas. He also went after the left’s control of State Universities and their high tuition rates for a bunch of liberal nonsense courses. He had an excellent reform proposal.
Rick Perry is very smart and has a good character.
I think it will be more like 47 states. Maybe even more.

NY closes at 9PM. If Trump takes NY, the election could be over ~10:30 EST.
