I’m not sure when you’re talking about but I was listening to Guy Clark in like 1965 he was a member of the original Byrds. He got popular when he was really young.

Gene Clark and Michael Clarke were members of the Byrds ... Guy Clark never was.

Clark was one of the legends of songwriting. I followed him for quite a while. I especially liked Heartbroke and Randall Knife. RIP Mr. Clark.
