The New York Times' article published Saturday with the headline "Crossing the Line: How Donald Trump Behaved With Women in Private" begins with an anecdote from a woman named Rowanne Brewer Lane, who as a 26-year-old model was asked by the businessman to put on a swimsuit during their first meeting at a Mar-a-Lago pool party.
"But the 1990 episode at Mar-a-Lago that Ms. Brewer Lane described was different: a debasing face-to-face encounter between Mr. Trump and a young woman he hardly knew. This is the private treatment of some women by Mr. Trump, the up-close and more intimate encounters," the Times wrote.
On Monday morning, Brewer Lane appeared on "Fox & Friends" to dispute the Times' framing of her account.
"Actually, it was very upsetting. I was not happy to read it at all," Brewer Lane said. "Well, because The New York Times told us several times that they would make sure that my story that I was telling came across. They promised several times that they would do it accurately. They told me several times and my manager several times that it would not be a hit piece and that my story would come across the way that I was telling it and honestly, and it absolutely was not."
Asked what the reporters got wrong, Brewer Lane said they took her quotes and "put a negative connotation on it."
"They spun it to where it appeared negative. I did not have a negative experience with Donald Trump, and I don't appreciate them making it look like that I was saying that it was a negative experience because it was not," Brewer Lane said.
Co-host Ainsley Earhardt asked to clarify if Brewer Lane knew him well and that they dated for several months.

Rowanne’s been a busy woman this morning... she’s been on Fox live this morning, she was mentioned on CNN and now she’s on MSNBC live. This might just get some traction.
First rule of thumb is never give a left wing news source the time of day.
Her main squeeze right now is Abedin. That’s the story that needs to be exposed.

One of the conservative sites had a reporter do a “man on the street” segment, where he asked a bunch of Hillary voters what exactly Hillary has done (as in actually accomplished) to win their support.
Most of them drew a complete blank. As the vast majority were women, I’m betting they didn’t want to be honest about why they were voting for her - because she’s a liberal woman, damn the qualifications.
The ones who DID have an answer, though, were all about how hard Hillary struggled to break the “glass ceiling”, and how she was such a strong, independent woman.
That’s why I believe that attacking her for riding her husband’s coattails would be so effective.
What is an even MORE effective tactic, in my opinion, is pointing out her connections to Wall Street, and how much money she made for speeches. Because in the mushy little brains of the Bernie and Hillary commu-socialists, class war beats an empowered woman narrative every day of the week.
What is this story, 27 years old? This is just another indication the corrupt media, D.C. lawyer politicians et al, have zero zip nothing on Trump.
The eneMedia should delve back 69 years ago to see if Trump was
rude and cried too loudly when he was in the hospital nursery after he was born.
When they have to go back 27 years for dirt and then still have to lie about it there is no dirt to find.

I recall a scene from the movie "Patton", where Patton is shown destroying the German forces in North Afirca. He says, "Rommel, you magnificent bastard - I read your book!"
After he defeated the most celebrated AXIS commander on the planet, no one else was foolish enough to take on Patton.
