Amid the Obama administration's "obsession" with allowing men into girls' restrooms, shower rooms and locker rooms, there's appearing a horrifying side effect: Men who have assaulted, or tried to assault, girls while both are in those areas of privacy. Obama's latest on the White House bathroom fetish came this week with his demand to public schools across the country that they allow students to say they are transgender and to use the facilities of their choice, completely disregarding the privacy rights of other students. Administration officials are casting it as a civil-rights issue, claiming that Congress, in its 1964 Civil Rights Act, envisioned not only authorizing but requiring permission for men to enter women’s locker-room facilities.
The move was condemned immediately by conservatives, such as Gov. Mike Huckabee, who said it reveals "a lot" about Obama and his priorities. The latest tragedy of having men in women’s bathroom was reported by the Chicago Tribune on Friday. The Tribune reported a West Town man was accused of choking an 8-year-old girl until she passed out inside a store bathroom in a South Loop neighborhood. "The girl went into the store's bathroom. At some point, Reese M. Hartstirn, 33, came into the bathroom and started choking the girl with his hands, causing her to become unconscious," the report said. "He then picked up the unconscious girl and carried her into a bathroom stall, closing the door so she couldn’t leave..."

I have noticed that even the mainstream news freely admits that that ozero’s toilet ‘edict’ contains language regarding federal funds that is clearly a ‘threat’, yet fail to label what it is... extortion.

Someone could dive into a bathroom after a little girl if nobody was watching. And just like no-guns signs don’t stop armed assailants, a Women sign won’t stop a man.
The small amount of encouragement that an affair like Target’s might have upon such a situation is not really the point here. The point is people’s sense of self dignity and self-protection, which in actuality is pretty jolly weak.
Why did God furnish something better than a fig leaf?
Incidentally, many molesters have been molestees. It is a generational sin. It takes more than an ostracism campaign to deal with the situation in the way the Lord wants.

I think a large segment of the church dropped the sacrosanct nature of born gender well before the unbelieving or agnostic world did. If the salt is allowed to become unsalty, it won’t resalt itself.
Texas says the $2B in federal aid they get goes for free breakfast and lunch for the poor. The poorest of the poor would be hurt, badly, if the fed withholds funds.

How is this not a violation of equal protection under the law?
Transgenders can use whatever bathroom they want, but everyone else has to obey the signs?

Either everyone has to obey the law, or no one has to obey the law.

You seem bound and determined to hijack this thread and turn it into a religious issue, when it really isn’t. It’s a public health, safety, and decency issue, turned into political theater by the community organizer.

My German Shepherd identifies as a human being. This much is clear. Girl dog thinks she’s people.
But she is forced to humiliate herself by making wee wee on my lawn and some various other lawns. If I take her to Pet Smart, she has to do business out in the parking lot on the strips of grass in the curb for Pete’s sake.
This is an outrage.
She should be able to use the Ladies Room like any other mammal who identifies as a human female.
I am going to call Target and see if I can get Ladies Room privileges for beloved Isis girl dog.
