Mass. Senate passes transgender bill

After an emotional debate, the Massachusetts state Senate on Thursday passed a controversial bill that would prohibit discrimination against transgender people in sports arenas, gas stations, movie theaters, bars, malls, and other public accommodations.

The vote was 33-4.

The measure would update state anti-discrimination law. So, just as a restaurant or theater can’t refuse service to people based on their race, such venues couldn’t discriminate against transgender people.

The legislation, which now heads to the House, is aimed at protecting people who identify with a sex other than the one they were assigned at birth. It would specifically allow people to use the restrooms, locker rooms, and changing rooms that match their gender identity.

“We’re disappointed that the Senate has eliminated commonsense protections for women and children in public locker rooms, bathrooms, and changing facilities,” said Andrew Beckwith, President of the Massachusetts Family Institute.

The Democratic leaders of the Legislature, Senate President Stanley C. Rosenberg and House Speaker Robert A. DeLeo, both back the bill. Governor Charlie Baker, a Republican who opposed such a measure during his failed 2010 run for governor, has not taken a position on it. Still, Baker has indicated he probably won’t veto it should the legislation be sent to his desk.

While DeLeo, the House speaker, supports the thrust of the legislation, but the House is likely to take up a different version than the one passed by the Senate. That vote is likely to happen in coming weeks.

There’s something very seriously wrong with the people of Massachusetts, and most of the rest of New England too.

Indeed, and most of the rest of America too for letting it get this far. Note that MA law prohibits making any distinction, discrimination, or restriction ...or treatment in a place of public accommodation based on religion, creed...denomination, sex, sexual orientation...or mental disability.

Places of public accommodation include:..Auditoriums, convention centers, lecture halls, houses of worship, and other places of public gathering...zoos, ...Child care centers.

Therefore a church cannot make any distinction in how it treats persons, meaning anyone from a Muslim to a homosexual cannot be excluded from membership or the pastorate, or make a distinction btwn gender in bathrooms.

And to be consistent, if one feels like a monkey should be allowed to live with them in a zoo. Or marry them.

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. (Psalms 9:17)

And churches that did not make a stand before will be forced to either salute the flag of Sodom or face persecution, as the devil seeks to seduce or compel all to worship him via his proxy servants.

As if abortion isn’t enough, the leaders of our country are determined to bring us under the judgment of God.

Jesus can’t come back too soon.

When Clinton was first elected and it was my Monday to host Mon Nite Football, my pastor expressed perplexed concern over how this could have happened.

I mentioned it’s another sign that God is judging our country.

He understood immediately.

Now, to use the vernacular, His judgment seems to be going “viral” and increasing exponentially.

I think we can see the quiver of lightening bolts being dusted off if Hillary steals the election from the people like JFK, Bill Clinton (twice) and Obama (twice) did.

I have no doubt that voter fraud was the factor that brought those results.

And if Clinton wins, it will be voter fraud again.

My estimate is that at least a 20% buffer is needed to counter all the millions of invalid votes that will be cast.

Well, here in the people’s republic of NY, our presidential vote is a throwaway vote anyway.

The state will go dem whoever is running.

Last election obama would have won even if all the other votes cast for all the other candidates were given to one man, his competitor.

I will be shocked if NY goes anything other than dem.

I'd bet good money that if you act crazy in a public place in Mass; you WILL be discriminated against!

On the fast-moving train from hell pedophilia may well be the next car. But all too soon the train car labeled ‘trans-humanism’ will pull into the station. When it arrives we’ll be required to submit to the dictates of people who feel that they have transcended (evolved beyond) mere humanity and are at the very least quasi-divine.
