Speaker Paul Ryan spoke with reporters after his first meeting with Donald Trump on Thursday morning...

Speaker Paul Ryan gushes over Trump: His personality, I thought he had a very good personality. He’s a very warm and genuine person. I met him like 30 seconds in 2012. So we really don’t know each other. And we started to get to know each other. So, I actually had a very pleasant exchange with him...

That’s nice Paul. Now see if you can lick a little of that mud off the heel.

Honey words. What/How would a backstabber act differently?

“Speaker” Ryan is a disaster for our Republic.

If Trump loses the general, Ryan is the defacto 2020 candidate. He needs to ‘publicly’ support Trump to maintain his viability.

Real nice. Yet, once the bluebirds of joy have stopped singing, Ryan refuses to be photographed with The Donald, let alone extending an endorsement. Maybe it’s part of the obligatory Kabuki Dance of the GOPe, once that ends in their acceptance and surrender to the will of the voters.

Paul RINO is irrelevant. He’s being Cantored. This time next year he’ll be peddling influence on Wall Street instead of Washington.

What a total load of bs. He lectures on the constitution and caved everything to Obama.

This man is a weasel. He says we believe in limited government. Are you kidding me?

That is why people hate politicians what a bunch of liars.

“blah, blah, blah, but I’m still refusing to endorse the GOP Presidential nominee. I haven’t yet given up on my dream of trying to nuke Trump in order to help Hillary get elected this election cycle so I can run against her in four years myself as the GOPe white knight.”

Ryan is one of those with such potential, but he’s shown nothing since getting the VP nod. He did a great job on 2011 and 12 presenting a course of action. Then we went AWOL and sucked into the DC blob.

Everybody, Nehlen has very little chance of unseating Ryan. What Ryan “gushed” is what others have said after meeting with Trump behind closed doors. Instead of reading cynicism or timidity into Ryan’s statement, how about just accepting it for now at face value and as a possible step toward a Trump win, along with down-ballot candidates.

Did Ryan just have a learning moment, where he had a vision of himself with a cardboard sign, under a viaduct...?
