Well, not great news here but I guess not unexpected. He is the Speaker of the House. Even if this is a GOPe polling firm, the lead is significant and this was taken after the Trump dust up. Still, three months is a long time, but Ryan appears to be in a strong position. Hoping Nehlen can somehow pull this out.

Makes me ill. Ryan is a traitor to the USA. Pick your example.

No surprise... lying Ryan is a breath of fresh air to the progressives cradle of WI. Kinda born that way.

Love him for trying but he’s just not that sharp to really do it.

There’s only one poll that matters. The rest are, at best, just noise.

There was a poll a week ago or so showing Ryan down by 5 if I recall correctly.

One or the other is a we bit off.

Ryan is not going to be ousted in an primary challenge folks... He’s not Cantor. Ryan like him or not, will easily win nomination and be re-elected. National winds and influence are not going to change that, if anything they will solidify support for Ryan in his district.

National influence could help cost Ryan the speakership still a very unlikely possibility, but more likely than Ryan losing to a primary challenger.

The average voter has never heard of Nehlen. They are not News Hounds like us here. He needs to make a big splash and bring the cameras to him. Ask Trump for advice.

You don’t believe that a sitting congressman, who was the VP nominee 4 years ago and is the speaker of the house doesn’t have a big lead in his district?

Sorry, but Ryan is not Cantor folks, as much as some here might wish ill for the guy, he’s not getting taken out in a primary challenge, he will win re-election quite comfortably.

Don’t let your excitement over Trump being the nominee turn off your frontal cortex. Ryan may not be popular here with some folks, but that doesn’t mean he’s on par with Cantor in terms of being tin eared and out of touch with the people of his district.

WI has a very well organized and battle hardened machine, the GOPe was able to mobilize it and give Trump a major defeat there. Ryan is in no risk of losing his seat because he hasn’t just jumped on the Trump Train.

National moods and money won’t take out Ryan, WI has shown through the recall elections and other things, that it is not going to just roll over to outside money and influence, and if anything is more likely to dig its heals in against it.

Ryan is safe. National mood and organization could cost him the speakership, but that’s about it, and frankly even that is a very long shot... just not as long as thinking Ryan will go down to a primary challenger.

Let’s see what happens when Paul Cantor makes a fool of himself with his non-endorsement endorsement of Trump. Maybe Trump should let paulie be the parking lot attendant at te convention.

Heard Nehlen do an interview on the Vince Coakley show on WORD 106.3 radio in Greenville earlier this week. Seems like a decent well meaning man, but not exactly a polished communicator.

Paul Ryan has learned how to lie even better than Hillary.

I would say that is true but what makes Ryan's case unique is that Trump won his district in the primary.

A combination of Cruz-Trump voters may get rid of this guy.
