Washington Post assigns army of 20 to dig into 'every phase' of Trump's life
Washington Examiner ^ | 5/11/16 | Paul Bedard

The Washington Post has built a sizable army of reporters to dig into every facet of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's life under orders of new owner Jeff Bezos, the Amazon founder and Democratic Party donor.

Post Associate Editor Bob Woodward revealed Wednesday that the Post has assigned 20 staffers to Trump. In addition the paper plans a book.

"There's a lot we don't know," he told the National Association of Realtors convention in Washington. "We have 20 people working on Trump, we're going to do a book, we're doing articles about every phase of his life," he added.

“Trump has changed the game, and no one really know the rules.”

Yes, this IMHO is exactly what has happened, and exactly what has needed to happen. Sometimes when the game is stacked against you, and the other team owns the ball and the playing field - and sets their own rules, you need to be able to say ‘game over, I’m not playing anymore’. Trump can do that best at this point because he can just say, ‘Keep your ball. I’ve got my own ball, and a better playing field, and your rules are irrelevant’.

Yeah. They nailed him on that pathetic forgery of a “birth certificate.” The one with the imprints of half-a-dozen different typewriters on it.

The Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels approves, and gives the WP a Heil Hitler salute.

Good to see Bezos is wisely spending that Billion Dollars he made in the Stock Market yesterday.

Good luck with that; Trump has been in the public eye since I can remember, no, I never watched his television program but his business dealings and and some of his verbal fights have kept him visible and in the press for years.
Does seem a little strange that the Washington Compost has the resources to do something like this when they can’t even report the news correctly.

“They know that to dig into the Democrats is to dig their own graves.”

Exactly!

Couldn’t have said it better.

Jeff Bezos is a millionaire multiple times. He’s going up against a billionaire whose billionaire friends are supporting him. Not quite as powerful as he thinks he is.

OK, so in the past 3 days we've found out that Facebook and Amazon are all in to help Hillary.

Even going so far as to quash any inquiries and censor any news.

I didn't mention the literal THOUSANDS of paid trolls designed to "comment" on various websites, in case someone says something negative about Hillary.

I've noticed this phenomenon on even small blogs.

These pro-Hillary people never sleep.

I'm guessing some kind of bot that spews out pre-canned "responses".

Nobody, I mean NOBODY loves Hillary *that* much.

Today I actually saw a Hillary bumper sticker here in Seattle.

That is the first time.

Plenty of Bernie stickers, though.

You’d have to guess the GOPe and BushCo spent the dinero and passion to dig up anything they could use to derail his inevitability already. They are not as good at lying, though.

It's long-past time to heavily finance oppo-research on the owners, stakeholders, and senior employees of the Washington Post.

I don’t recall the Washington Post assigning 20 reporters to look into every aspect of Obama’s or Hilary’s past.

Ultima :" I pretty much consider all major media to be an extension of the uniparty."

No it's worse than that !
I recognize how and why all the new Congressional members get 'tainted', and turn against their avowed principles that got them elected in the first place.
Locals read the local paper for news analysis, not just local, but also international news analysis.
If you don't get out of the 'Beltway' , this becomes your sense of reality, of the way that the world and the country really is,
especially if your party requires you to spend 8 hours each day hustling for re-election funds for yourself and the party, trying to raise funds only from special interests.
The 'political party rules your life , your time availability, and the amount of news information to which you have access.
When that happens , you lose perspective , and rely more so on the only news available to you via local newspapers - in this case the Washington Post, and you lose perspective.
This way , you get this distorted sense of reality, and become tainted in your perception , and then in your principles.
This is why I place 'the ENQUIRER' as a more legitimate news source than the Washington Post (A/K/A: the Washington PI$$ER)!!

Too bad they didn’t do this with Obama ... (but it probably wouldn’t have made any difference).

Too bad they didn’t do this with Obama ...

The difference between how the Post is vetting Trump versus how they vetted Obama:

...Twenty reporters assigned to dig into every aspect o Trump's life.

...A dedicated fax number to receive all of Obama's press releases.
