If I’m not mistaken Ted attends First Baptist Curch in Houston.

I don’t think I’ve heard Cruz say he was “ordained” to be president.
I do think he prayed and sought direction from God as to whether or not to run for president.
That shouldn’t be a problem should it?

Trump is going to be the nominee...but maybe Cruz brought attention to some things that we as social conservatives need to be concerned about...
He always spoke about
1. The horrors and law breaking that was taking place at Planned Parenthood.
2. That we should defend religious liberties.
3. That marriage should be between one man and one woman.
4. Staying friends with Israel.
5. The over reaching of the IRS with respect to their targeting of religious and/or conservative groups.

His dad isn’t running for president...so what he says shouldn’t really matter...correct.

He may not even eligible- then what?
And why are his records sealed?

Have we learned nothing from unvetted foreigners with sealed records?

“Volcanic anger” is not a particularly high-falutin’ phrase, but it is stilted enough to indicate why Cruz is repellent. Reading Cruz’s words, I can hear that piercing, nasal voice, the phony pregnant pauses, the rehearsed solemnity.

We know Trump isn't a Christian either.

And you know this exactly how?

At least Trump is not a certified liar like Ted is. And when Trump helped Carson in that awkward ABCNews debate intro, what he did was more Christian than what anyone else did on that stage.

Trump has done great things for people without seeking the limelight.

And do a little research, the Cruz Iowa Carson plan was a "go" two weeks before it happened, and it was the brainchild of Amanda Carpenter. Trump, the so called non Christian, was right about that also. Cruz apologized, but then if he did nothing wrong, why did he apologize? Even Carson saw through Cruz's insincerity.

As far as conservative goes,I would assume that means defending the Constitution, like defending Trump when his First Amendment rights were stripped by the crowd in Chicago, instead of blaming Trump for what happened.

Also defending the Constitution means understanding that you cannot be born a natural born citizen of two countries. You don't get to pick which one.

Conservative also means to me fighting Hillary hammer and tong, not saying, Oh, I won't go there when Hillary lays down the woman card.

What Trump has done for us is to strip the mask off of all the phonies on our side.

And Ted is as phony as them come.

Had me fooled last year, for sure.

But we are fighting old battles now.

We need to defeat Hillary, or whomever the Dems substitute for her later this year.

Trump is that person.

He has been vetted, and he has knocked out 16 other opponents, and shut the mouths of Vicente Fox and Pope Francis.

He saved us from Low Energy Jeb, Li'l Marco, and Lyin' Ted and Kooky Kasich from being the nominee.

And the primary season is not even over yet.

Well there is no need to rehash or argue about his eligibility the primary is effectively over.

What I know is that he has...
1. Helped defend the 2nd Ammendment before the Supreme Court.
2. Helped defend a Texas Ten Commandments monument placement.
3. Defend Texas’ position in Medellin vs Texas.
4. Has one of the most conservative voices and votes in the Senate.

And I would choose him over 98 of the other senators.

CHILL!! jEEZ, we have bigger villains in this country and the worst person on this world is CRuz?!?

Dear God, we have Hitlery, Odumbo, Black Lives, ISIS and the way you worded it, it’s like Cruz is satan.

Since Cruz is trying to slither his way back into the running after all his dirty tricks, it certainly is not inappropriate to 'rehash'.

As a Texan, and someone who has met him some years back in Austin during a function where he was the guest speaker, I dislike him immensely- and it is not hard to understand why he is universally disliked. You really have to meet him to get a sense of just how phony and narcissistic and downright creepy the guy really is.

As far as his record as Texas senator, he has one of the worst records of any senator for not showing up for the job we elected him to do- and he's known for his 'flip flops' on key issues.

I don’t know which key issue “flip flops” you are talking about.
On the “gang of 8 bill” Jeff Sessions backed up Cruz’s explanation...correct?

As far as his voting ratings given by conservative groups...he is usually at or near the top.
In my mind, I would place Cruz in the top 2-3 US senators.

His voting attendance record is not what it should be. I think I read where he missed 9.5% of the votes “before” he announced his presidential candidacy.

As far as Cruz being liked personally...I don’t really care if an official is “liked” by others as long as he votes correctly.
You used the word narcissistic describing Cruz...surely you don’t think Trump isn’t narcissistic do you?

If he won’t release his delegates to the winner, he should have no speaking role at the convention. He’s not on the Trump train and the convention is the Trump train.

"All across this country people are hungry for change. This election cycle should be a wake-up call to Washington, D.C.," the senator from Texas said outside his office. "The frustration and volcanic anger with Washington was echoed throughout this election."

And yet his strategy at the end was to team up with Washington and impugn the outsiders.

Jimmy Fallon coined cRuz, perfectly, last night...

“He’s like the ex-boyfriend who keeps trying to hang out with your parents.”

This guy just needs to slink back under a rock. After he’s released his delegates.

cReepy.

Yes, Donald is. True.
He is a brilliant businessman/CEO who has made himself a billionaire by his ability and wits.He has good reason to be proud of himself.
- and he CAN run this country and get things done- instead of bloviating about his ‘Conservative’ record and ‘defending the constitution and doing little else.

Donald is also likable and charismatic. (which goes a long way in being elected)

Not a soul who has worked for him has had a bad thing to say about him.

He has been open and honest about his past- while Cruz’ records are sealed.

Cruz took evangelicals for granted, mocked them, and dumped them in favor of Romney and Glenn Beck.

His father and Kenneth Copeland declared him the anointed one to lead the Seven Mountain Domionionist cult as it merges with Mormonism. Evangelicals were not amused.

“I never knew you; depart from me”

Exactly right — and misdirected anger could in fact result in a Convention of the States and/or secession efforts, which considering the trolls and subversives and corruption everywhere surely would not result in a stronger USA but quite the opposite. I’m sure Marx and Mohammad would want a COS about now.
