Cruz re-opens door to challenging Trump for nomination

Ted Cruz is leaving the door open to reviving his campaign to challenge Donald Trump for the Republican presidential nomination.

“Listen, let’s be very clear: If there is a path to victory, we launched this campaign intending to win,” the Texas senator told conservative radio host Glenn Beck on Tuesday. “The reason we suspended the race last week is with Indiana’s loss I didn’t see a viable path to victory. If that changes, we will certainly respond accordingly.”

Tump should consider him for nothing.
His ambition overrides whatever judgement he had.

And they don't like him in the Senate why??

Cruz is a sitting Senator. He has a job....and he should be there. He really scre*** his constituents. They should be livid.

I had previously admired Ted Cruz as a solid conservative who always tried to do the right thing.
His conduct in the last 7 months have proved otherwise (TPP, H-1B, craven campaign stunts, proclaiming god’s destiny, etc).
His poor character and actions have turned me against him.
Cruz, Go away and do your Senate role as is your duty.

“I admire persistence, but good grief.”

“Admiration” is not a word that should be used anywhere near Lyin’ Ted! Try “Snake in the Grass!”

Cruz is another clueless also-ran who won’t go away.

43% in YOUR home state, Ted.

I was in the car this morning listening to Talk radio and Glenn Beck and his cohorts are giving the history of brokered conventions. I think they seriously think if there is a brokered convention Ted will get the nomination. Teddybear was going to be his guest for the last part of the show but thankfully I got home right before he came on or I would have had to change the channel.

I worry that this asshat is going to win Nebraska tonight. And if he does, there’s no telling what he will do after that.

Ted...please. Just stop.

You are not going to win Nebraska...and even if you did, the door is already closed.

How many states with actual direct votes by the voters did he win, anyway? 4 out of 29? I don’t know why he can’t give it a rest and walk away as intact as he is, and fight another day. He’s still a very young man by politician standards (more than 20 years younger than Mr. Trump or Her Thighness).

Folks he is an Ahole or crazy, but there isn’t a door number three. It’s a binary choice (like the “binary choice”the NeverTrumps say they are rejecting).

The five stages of grief:
  1. denial
  2. anger
  3. bargaining
  4. depression
  5. acceptance
So RejecTED is straddling stages 1 through 3. Someone needs to get him off the schneid.

I remember when he was first running for Senator in Texas and I mentioned my opinion that he was doing this as a part of his presidential ambitions and would use the seat for cheap stunts rather than to help Texas. I was called a communist that wanted his opposition to win.

I guess I was right without being a Marxist.

He’s an attention whore at this point.

Arrogant to the last day. He still believes the BS people have been blowing up his rear about how God is with him.
