SARAH PALIN Announces She Will Work to Defeat Paul Ryan in Primary

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin announced on Sunday she will work to defeat Paul Ryan in his Republican primary.

This came after Ryan would not endorse the Republican nominee Donald Trump for president. On Thursday Republican Speaker Paul Ryan told Jake Tapper on CNN he was “not ready” to endorse Donald Trump yet.

Donald Trump won the GOP nomination on Tuesday after his landslide victory in Indiana.

Palin told Jake Tapper she believes Ryan will soon be “Cantored.”

CNN reported:

Sarah Palin will work to defeat House Speaker Paul Ryan by backing his primary opponent in Wisconsin, the former Alaska governor told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

Palin said in an interview that airs Sunday on “State of the Union” that her decision was sparked by Ryan’s bombshell announcement to Tapper last week that he wasn’t yet ready to support Donald Trump, the Republican presumptive nominee. Palin endorsed Trump back in January.

“I think Paul Ryan is soon to be ‘Cantored,’ as in Eric Cantor,” Palin said, referring to the former Republican House majority leader who was ousted in a shocking upset in 2014 when challenger Dave Brat ran to his right in a Virginia primary.

“His political career is over but for a miracle because he has so disrespected the will of the people, and as the leader of the GOP, the convention, certainly he is to remain neutral, and for him to already come out and say who he will not support is not a wise decision of his,” Palin continued.

It will be interesting to see who the Cruz supporters will endorse in this race.

Sarah’s rep tarnished? Say it ain’t so, Joe. Here on FR that is blasphemy. Even McCain defends her today, so she must be OK for Trump.

It is quite a thing to reflect that Ryan was ‘the darling Romney VP choice’ at one time, and could be found all over the place, both in a suit, and in his hunting togs.

Now, that he has been placed in an office that he did not ‘run’ for, the true character of the man shows not to be the ‘darling of the TEA party’ as was once the case. He is, and has been, nothing more than a coatail rider, spewing hallucinogenic ideas of changing Congressional financial hijinks, while clinging to Romney.

“It was interesting for me to learn Ryan has never had a public job.”

Never had a private job, not public.

Gosh no! Some anti-Trump FReepers may be taking an extended vacation from posting but there are a'plenty Palin disparagers still roaming these threads. I just saw one.

Then we must agree to disagree that right now trump should spearhead a war against both the Republican Party and hillary Clinton.
Ryan is the smaller fish compared to taking down the Clinton crime syndicate and Trump does NOT need the diversion from his main goal
He is still campaigning as a party uniter in the fight against Clinton so personally taking out GOP leaders is neither good strategy nor wise for a guy who promotes himself as a builder
Ryan shot himself in the foot, let Ryan deal with it
Good that someone as powerful as Palin is willing to step up and start to take scalps in the state battles while trump, focuses on getting nominated and amassing troops for the general election war to come

Businessman Paul Nehlen is running against Ryan. His views are in keeping with Trump’s platform. I’ve been suporting Nehlen on Twitter. He has a good shot because people are fed up with Ryan rubber stamping Obama’s agenda. Omnibus and funding 300,000 “refugees,” and calling for more.

Poll: The current polling numbers are:

Ryan 41%

Nehlen 48%

There is an article claiming Ryan is now a Muslim. True or not, I wouldn’t put anything past this putz.

On a side note, I noticed Cruz was wearing a blue shirt with a pale green necktie @ the Derby. Ryan was wearing the same in his last appearance. Is this a fashion statement or a signal of some kind?

I love Sarah, but I fear she is doing Donald no good. She’s done.

I have always had great respect for Palin and her opinions. I still do. She is a true conservative and American patriot. The many lies spread about her have no effect on me.

I think you are mistaken. About the benefit to Trump of Palin assisting in Ryan’s primary, and her status.

She is alive, well and persuasive outside the MSM studios. She rallies a crowd.

She will be on the trail for Trump all year, so get used to it.

Don't you get it? It's the likes of Ryan, the Bushes, and Romney who have treated us as cheap trick voting fodder for decades! With them pushed into favoring hillary, there's no ambiguity. hillary is part of the elite. A vote against hillary will be a vote against the no longer subtle Uniparty elite. Clean out the garbage, across the political spectrum, all at once!

The best message we can send is if Ryan is Cantorized in the primary. Whose side are you on, anyway?

But hey send Sarah your money and she’ll take on the smaller fish
