It’s all about the open borders/amnesty agenda.
Trump threatens to shut down the Cheap Labor Express.
Most of the GOP officeholders are owned by the Cheap Labor Express.
Most of the voters are with Trump.

Will [the GOP] sit out the 2016 campaign?

If they do this, they are dead to me and most of my friends.

Losing the nomenklatura is a net gain.

There is only one way to look at this:

Trump and the millions of Trump supporters are trying to save America and bring her back from the days of Bush; Clinton; Clinton; Bush; Bush; obuma...

So if your not aboard the Trump Train, then you don’t want to save America and her people...

...while the Republican Party splinters around him....

Actually, the rank and file are rallying, not splintering. This is a statement based in fear, and then again it is from the Clinton Cable Network.

Sure — there are many many bruises from this pub primary. But the nominee is essentially picked now for all practical purposes.

On the dem side they are still slugging it out. I think there will be many ticked off dems when Hillary takes the nomination given the process they have used to give Hillary delegates even when Bernie has won.

They should be writing a story about potential Dem unrest.

The GOPe has mostly decide to pick up their ball and go home. If Trump wins, he will be the party establishment for the next four years, maybe eight, and the Bushes and the Romneys will be in the rear view mirror. Its time to become the new establishment, and not to sit around enjoying perks. We need to become the establishment in order to get things done that the GOPe and the democrats didn't want done, like cutting spending, getting the budget under control, and engaging our precious special snowflakes out of their safe spaces.

In order to keep this victory, the people who left the republicans in disgust over the years, or never joined, need to get back in the game. You need to be the establishment. Join the party, volunteer for positions. Get things done.

I don’t believe Ted Cruz said a word about Hillary in his farewell tantrum “press conference”. The never Trumpers and hysterical Cruzies plan to continue their vote suppression campaign for the Butcher of Benghazi until the convention. How principled and conservative of them.

What exactly makes Kristol, Jeb, Lindsey, etc. the Republican Party? Since when are they and not the GOP voters the Republican Party?

I think they need an attitude adjustment.

For people like most of us on Free Republic, if Hillary gets in the White House is all over for us. Our only problem is keeping Hillary out of the White House, If she gets in, she will take care of our other problems. The GOPe moles and judas goats on Free Republic, she will take care of them also, but later on. It is up to us. Don’t depend on the GOPe ers and Never Trump , or the Anybody But Trump for help. As the old saying goes, “A leopard can’t change its spots.”

What the GOPe is doing is not quixotic, it’s Quisling. They’ve been doing it to the rest of us since 2012. Maybe earlier.

Good. Its about time. Its time to clean our own house first before any attacks on the treasonous Rats can be successful.

>>Republicans need to face reality: do they want to be responsible for a President Hillary Clinton?

The Republican Patriots do NOT want to be responsible for a Pres. Clinton. That’s why they support DJT.

The Republican Elites DO want a Pres. Clinton. That’s why they are #NeverTrump.

There will be a major shifting, or alignment of party members when DJT becomes President. The GOPe Elites will shuffle over to their real home, the Dems.

At the same time, Dem Patriots who voted Trump will be warmly welcomed into the NEW GOP.

Thereafter, it should be clear that the Dems represent the Globalists, and the Pubs represent the Nationalists.
