Vice President Joe Biden on Friday indicated that he was disappointed in Donald Trump's taco bowl tweet on Cinco de Mayo, and said that he hopes the presumptive Republican nominee begins to talk more seriously about the issues.
“He's a smarter guy than this," Biden told Fox 5 DC. "I hope he reaches the point where he figures out that it’s not a game show and that he begins to talk in earnest about where he would take the country."
"Because that is the kind of debate the public deserves. I know Hillary [Clinton] or Bernie [Sanders], if he is the nominee, will do that," he continued. "But the American public deserves genuine a debate at this moment in our history on the direction of the country — whether we continue the direction we are on and moving forward or are we making a significant change. I’m not sure he knows."

I will say that the GOPe will never be the same, again, though, and that is a huge blessing.
What exactly is supposed to be so controversial about someone saying that their taco bowl is the best? I’d hope they think so.

By now you have seen the image of Trump eating a Taco Bowl on Cinco De Mayo and saying, “I love Hispanics!” It was funny, provocative, playful, and viral as all get-out.
But more importantly, every time it got retweeted and shared, more people saw a smiling Trump proclaim his love for Hispanics. Repetition is truth. Trump’s truth had a good day. That was a clean win.
what in Sam Hill is wrong with the taco bowl tweet? it’s Cinco, which is, like, Mexican Day, and he’s promoting the restaurant in his hotel. Should Mexicans or Asians or (insert flavor here) be viewed as bigots for bbq-ing on the 4th of July? How about if Trump had promoted, say, Napoleon pastries or crepes on Cinco? Would that have been ok?
The Democrats will do everything to neutralize Trump's efforts to tear up the race card. In this case, they will use the Vice President, "Uncle" Joe Biden. Doesn't Uncle Joe have better things to do?
