People wondering why Donald Trump might be referencing some historical Clinton issues should refresh their memory on how vengeful Clinton staffers trashed the White House when Vice-President Al Gore lost to George W Bush in 2000.
When considering how the office of the presidency is regarded by the Clintons, a new generation of voters may not even know about Team Clinton:
♦ writing vulgar messages on the White House office walls, ♦ destroying furniture, ♦ slicing chair cushions, ♦ ripping phones out of walls, ♦ removing the historical door knobs, ♦ cutting all the electronic cabling ♦ stealing items (lots of stuff), ♦ switching around the fax machines and location addressed telephones, ♦ gluing desk drawers closed, ♦ carving into desk tops ♦ removing the “w” key from all the computer keyboards, ♦ spray painting the walls, and much worse.

My recollection is that the keyboards ruined by the removed W keys weren’t run of the mill Staples or Home Depot offerings but specialized and very expensive models with built in anti surveillance measures.
I’ve posted before that a friend worked in the WH in IT during the Bush/Clinton/Bush years, the vandalism you cite was done by Gore’s staff according to my friend. He referred to them as the Hitler Youth.
And the Bush people did nothing ... literally nothing. Unless I’m mistaken destruction and theft of federal property are felonies with hefty penalties. It took more than thirty years of this type of turn-the-other-cheek crap, from George Sr. handing the White House to a pair of low life Arkansas grifters to eight years of surrender to a real life Manchurian Candidate, for the revolt to take hold. I really do hope Trump’s supporters are right about him. Because short of a full blown revolution this is probably the last chance we’ll get to put things right.

The article forgot to mention the FBI retrieved two (2) large moving vans of stolen White House antique furniture, paintings, silverware, and other valuable items from Bill and Hillary Clinton's Chappaqua house. All this in addition to the destruction in the White House by the Clinton administration, with Hillary and Bill's blessing.

This was also the first clue that W was not going to challenge democrats/Clintons on anything. He said nothing about this.
And I wonder if the delays caused by drawn out election and the trashing of the WH may have contributed somewhat to missing the impending 9/11 threat.

We all sat through 8 years of the Bush Presidency wondering when we would FINALLY score a win. We waited and waited.
It took me years to figure out that the win was never coming.
Bush and his crew just didn't care. They had no intention of ever fighting the Democrats.
In the past year, I came to another conclusion that was even worse:
They're on the same team!
Why is the FBI hiding their findings? It’s a slam dunk!! Where are they? inquiring minds want to know BEFORE the NOMINATION. There is no question regarding the 2000 breaches of national security emails— There is no question about the server !!! There never was any question. Her bribery by donors to the family feeding trough “foundation” can come later!!
What more could they do? They’ve already wrecked the country.
