Like I said, until you see the next quarterly earnings report, don’t expect anything to change...
If Target’s earnings truly take a hit relative to the rest of the industry, then and only then will you likely see something change.
Their earnings report is due out on 5/18 and covers through the end of April. The announced this stupid policy in April so if they wind up with earnings far outside the rest of the industry then they got an immediate impact... because the policy happened so late in the quarter, it may take until next quarter to show up, assuming people actually follow through in large numbers with their threats to boycott them.
This will only work if women really care about men using their bathrooms. I’m not convinced they do. We’ll know in a few months or so.
I buy that Target might do this for great social justice and screw business reasons, but I don’t buy that from Trump. He seems like he at least knows business stuff. So what, he doesn’t know if his women customers care or not? We might be really farther along the cultural slide than I thought.

Oh, baloney. They get the daily sales figures and the comps within hours. They don't want to tell us.
All this because a few demented people want to affirm their “gender identity” by going into a room marked with the name of the sex with which they identify, in spite of the fact that the current liberal dogma is that gender is assigned at birth, and that after birth the person may choose from a wide spectrum, a broad continuum of genders to identify with, and that the current dogma refuses to accept the binary “MALE/FEMALE” dichotomy.
The solution to all this is very simple. Build special transgender bathrooms that allow only one person at a time. Just like airliners.
Keep all the regular bathrooms segregated by sex as they are now. PC businesses like Target can put their money where their mouth is. All this for a fraction of a percent of the population. Jeeesh!
If you provide a “women’s” restroom you are in fact making a promise that it’s for actual women. What these people are really doing is, just as one Hannity forumite wrote, insisting that the many be uncomfortable so a few can be.
So where folks, and we must be honest enough to say Women, should have recourse to have members of the wrong sex removed from a restroom not for them, under this most recent bout of cultural aggression they are to be forced to put up or retreat, and cease to use public restrooms.
The confused and perverted, along with their willing PCdiot allies, have decided that the shameful should now be the reason to shame; but, we cannot permit them to do so.

I would implore Target know it all execs to do a case study on K-Mart. K-mart denied that the boycotts due to carrying porn had no impact; however, all the layoff managers that resulted from closed stores would testify otherwise. Wait for Q2 earnings call.

My wife and I are not big Target shoppers, but we’d go there on occasion as there is a big one near us. Now, we pass it by.
I’ve heard of a small protest of Target, someone who went around the store with a shopping cart, filling it with high volume items from all over, then parking the cart in the store and leaving.
He figured it worked out to about an hour of an employees time, putting stuff back, while other work he could have been doing goes undone.

Texas AG issued statement which was on our local Noon news today asking what Target was going to do to protect women. Issue has not been even mentioned in passing on any other stations. Will be interesting to see if this has any effect on shoppers to our local store. Would love to boycott them but we have not shopped there for two or three years since they decided to go full gay.

But my boycott started when they denied the Salvation Army Bellringers in from of their stores.

I understand that the policy of Target is to welcome people to use whichever “restroom or fitting room facility” they feel “corresponds to their gender identity,” since “everyone deserves to feel like they belong.” However, this is Biblically immoral and means making many women feel like they do not belong because they are uncomfortable with allowing men in their bathroom. Therefore according to your own judgment they and others who disagree with this policy do not belong in your store, and I myself have joined the many others who have decided to the boycott against shopping at Target. And I discourage others from so doing, and encourage them to join the boycott of Target due to its immoral inclusive yet exclusive policy.
The Asian (it seems) young lady was very nice, and stated that not everyone who worked at Target agreed with that policy, however she could not give her personal opinion (but the tone was apologetic), but that she would surely pass on my comment, and simply asked for my first and last name, which I do not think is in their system anyway.
