He used to work in the West Wing, and now he is an actor, writer, and PhD candidate.
So in another words, the world is a rough place and he wants his old job back working on the taxpayer’s dime for the GOPe.

My answer to Mr. Meyers would be this. Most politicians are unfit to be President, and probably to be a senator or congressman. Hence, from here forward one of the major criteria for picking someone for public office should be that they have a job (other than in politics) and that they come from outside the political establishment. In this way we will have the best chance for fresh thought, and of avoiding pay to play crony politics. Further, Mr. Meyers, leaving politicians in office indefinitely is like leaving milk out on the counter top. Inevitably, both spoil. Good luck with your Ph.D. By the way, acting is perfect training for a career in politics.

I’m not a Trump supporter, but this is exactly what’s wrong with the GOP. The establishment absolutely trashes the base. They lie every election year. Force liberal candidates upon us. Trash anyone not on their reservation.
