Cruz: Trump is an 'utterly amoral' bully, narcissist, pathological liar
The Hill ^ | May 03, 2016 | Ian Swanson and Jonathan Easley

Ted Cruz laid into Donald Trump with his most personal and toughest criticism since the GOP presidential campaign began, calling him a "pathological liar" on Tuesday who doesn't understand the difference between the truth and lies.

Cruz prefaced his comments by saying that for the first time, he wanted to say exactly what he thought of Trump after the front-runner suggested Cruz's father might have had something to do with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

The Texas senator accused Trump of being both disingenuine and self-aggrandizing, saying Trump was a "narcissist" at a level "I don't think this country has ever seen." "Donald Trump is such a narcissist that Barack Obama looks at him and says, 'Dude, what's your problem?' " Cruz said.

“Whatever lie he’s telling, in that minute he believes it, Cruz added. "But the man is utterly amoral. Morality does not exist for him.”

“It’s why he went after Heidi directly, attacked her and smeared her," Cruz said. "Heidi isn’t pretty enough for him. ... Donald is a bully. ... Bullies don’t come from strength, they come from weakness. ... There’s a reason Donald builds giant buildings and puts his name on them everywhere he goes."

"Donald has a real problem with women," Cruz continued.

He then noted that Trump defended boxer Mike Tyson, who was convicted in Indiana on rape charges, and told Trump's supporters they should not believe their favored candidate.

"Donald is cynically exploiting that anger, and Donald is lying to his supporters," he said. He went on to insist Trump would betray his them by not doing what he promises, including his pledge to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Cruz's all-out assault suggested his campaign might be nearing its breaking point.

With roughly a third of the delegates, Cruz will get a speaking role at the convention and Donald can decide if he wants a speech like this at the convention or a speech like Cruz was making about Donald back in January.

I think there’s a lot of dirt that could be flung at Trump’s father that will get this sort of visceral reaction and worse. If Cruz doesn’t do it, you can bet Hillary’s minions will.

And if Trump is the nominee the Democrats will use what Cruz said over and over and over again..so again, who wins

I thought the same thing the whole time Cruz was talking, it will be sound bite heaven against Trump. But people know the women stuff is garbage, and he’s not even the one in the news, Cruz is! For today, Trump wins...

"Heidi isn’t pretty enough for him"

A smart man would have phrased that differently. Perhaps something like "Trump's jealous of my very beautiful wife" would have been better.

What a dummy.

I’m really tired of Creepy Cruz spouting off at the mouth. The fact that stories are going around the Internet saying he looks like the Zodiac Killer is indicative of the creepy feeling people get when they look at El Creepo Cruz. There’s a gut feeling people get when they see his weirdo handshake with Carly. The possibility that his Dad was hanging with Lee Harvey Oswald isn’t out of the realm of possibility. My Dad always said the Cubans were involved and our government hushed it up. Woody Harrelson’s Dad was a contract killer supposedly involved in killing Jack Ruby. Nothing would surprise me nowadays.

Neither of these clowns are presidential.

Being president is first and foremost a diplomatic post. Neither of these clowns have any diplomatic skills. Instead they are both acting like juveniles in an insult throwing contest.

A pox on both their houses.

Speaking of family, has anyone seen Ted's mother since the "women's summit" in Wisconsin? Trot her out in the wake of the sex scandal, and she disappears as soon as it disappears from the headlines.

If Cruz loses big in Indiana, expect the sex scandal thing to trickle up again. Time for the gopE to try to buddy up with Trump and get Cruz out of the way.

At the beginning of the primary campaigning, I was a Cruz supporter, but the campaign has really smoked out who Cruz really is, deep down.

Being a desperate, sore loser is a really ugly thing.

Cruz knows he has lost and is salting the earth. He’s Hillary’s surrogate now. How principled and conservative of him.

“Anybody got video of iCarly’s shock?”

It isn’t so much a specific moment, as it is her reactions to Felito’s wandering ramble, punctuated at times with her keen and assessing look at him, like is he going to have a full fit, and can she get away at some point. Watch the whole tape and don’t take your eyes off of her. Just watch her reactions to the stream of whatever it is from Felito.

Mark my words, some important obligation will pull her off of the campaign trail in a day or two, if there is one. Or, she will run to locations OTHER than the ones Felito is working.

There comes a time when you've won, when you need to stop the pummeling.

Trump should have just let it go, and never have gone there.

They need resolution, they both need to stop.

You need to understand that Ted doesn’t think you are righteous. He is going to redistribute that to folks like him and Glenn Beck.

You know, the righteous ones.

I’m also sick of the Anti-Trump crap that Yahoo has been posting on their homepage. If some nonentity wants to get featured in the news, just come out and say Trump is a —— fill in the blanks with psycho-babble.

If the election were held today, who would be
your first choice for President of the United States?

Who would be your first choice for Donald Trump's running mate?
Who would be your first choice for Donald Trump's running mate?

I see a future of Cruz sitting around in robe and slippers, leafing thru his scrapbook, and conducting cabinet meetings with his stuffed animals. In the adjoining rubber room will be Glenn Beck spouting religious insanity, and pounding his head on the wall.

Cruz dad is a central figure in this campaign and thus a just target. He does advance work in each state telling pastors its Gods will to vote for Cruz and implies that Trump is evil.

Trump has every right to call this nutjobs past into consideration. Besides Trump was asked about this in an interview. He gives honest real answers.
