I'm going to just leave this right here...

Someone went to painstaking detail to track Clinton's email scandal and announced it at DU. Naturally, people are freaking out about it because it is out in the public and the information 'damages their presumptive nominee'. Permission to keep this up for interested FReepers to peruse. I'm quite certain it will be taken down when they discover we are have it here.

Great stuff. Now, let’s see if the FBI still serves our country.

Print to pdf. It’s the beauty way to go.

As I have said for months, Hillary will NOT be the dem nominee. Obama is setting her up for a fall big time, so he can insert his puppets to be the POTUS/VP nominee. Biden will be at the top of the ticket by agreeing to accept the Manchurian VP candidate.

I never liked pdf much, takes too long. I'm more used to using text editor on my imac and wordpad on my PC. Everything I do now needs to be simple and fast.

I suppose some things are probably better in pdf but every time I click on something and see pdf starting to dl and the progress window on the bottom, half the time I just get out of it.

I did dl a very long report in pdf last week. If it wasn't important to me, I wouldn't have bothered, took forever to get all the sections. Now something that large is probably better in pdf.

Sometime when I'm not in a hurry, I might try it just to see if I can get it to do what I want and make a cy in textedit just in case.

Good post Pablius. I think those are the issues Comey is weighing. He has a very high burden because she is a leading candidate for office of POTUS and the presumptive nominee of a major party. While most people seem to think he should just indict if the evidence leads there - and there is merit in that - the problem is that the burden on Comey is in fact a lot higher in this case than in any other case because she is a candidate. While you mentioned the fact that a sitting president is unlike all others, and there is no legal precedent for this, the fact is a major candidate for POTUS is also not like a normal citizen. They can be indicted of course, but there is a lot more at stake than just the allegations and evidence.

In order to preserve liberty we have to not just avoid but actively prevent interference in the electoral process by federal agencies. We are not and don’t want to become a banana republic. We cannot see the FBI used to arrest nominees or eliminate political opposition via spurious investigations. If the FBI indicts before the election they will absolutely face charges (by the media and supporters of Hillary/Democrats) of an attempt to sabotage the democratic process. Some will say he should let the people decide if there was a crime, or as mentioned let congress deal with the evidence. I think if they indict at all they have to do it before the Dem convention, in order to allow the party to correct its mistake. Doing it after she is nominated is politically very difficult and people should not underestimate what could follow and the long term implications of such an action.

Anyway it is not something Comey can take lightly. He seems to be a serious man who understands the implications.

As an aside, and I don’t know if or how deeply this ties into the email issue, but Hillary’s use of the office of SoS to raise hundreds of millions in private donations from foreign heads of state should have made her politically ineligible for candidacy. That this has not (yet?) become a bigger issue is a problem for the country and should have been a problem for her party to deal with. If they did nothing because they fear her, then all the more problematic it is for the nation to nominate her. At the very least what she did was incredibly unseemly, and at the worst it was treason, but either way it is so outside the bounds of what we should allow our political leaders to get away with that her candidacy should have been shut down on day one.

I assume you are running a nearly current version of OSX (Yosemite or El Capitan) and Safari...

When you're on the website, all you have to do is go to your FILE menu and EXPORT it as a PDF -- to your desktop or other folder you designate.

Or, you can use SAVE AS -- and save it as a WebArchive or, even the raw page source code.

Good grief, you're on a Mac; use its horsepower!

Your post is on target except for one issue: Comey cannot indict. He can only recommend indictment to Loretta Lynch. She can:

OK, I'm going to give you a lesson [I was a computer professional in a previous life]. Adobe Acrobat PDF whatever sucks donkey balls.

Uninstall it. Get rid of it. Never use it again.

Go to Foxit, and get the Foxit PDF Reader.

https://www.foxitsoftware.com/products/pdf-reader/

It's got one-third the RAM footprint of Adobe, and it has no interest in taking over your operating system.

You'll thank me for this tip. :)

Comey is dragging it out to avoid this administration and present it to the next.

I know. Ironic isn’t it?

Whoops! the FBI already did that with Alaska's Senator Ted Stevens.

I don't want to hear any more excuses from the fibbies.

They either recommend indictment of Hillary Clinton now, or they out themselves as the Uniparty's GeheimeStaatspolizei.

Any time.
I troll the sewers so the rest of you don’t have to.
The Sanders supporters are pushing this hard, and rightfully so. It legitimizes their decision not to unite behind her should she become the nominee.
The threats of ‘death and destruction’ should Trump win falls on deaf ears. They don’t buy it.
