Rafael Cruz: “I Implore Every Member of the Body of Christ to Vote According to the Word of God”

Pastor Rafael Cruz, father of Ted Cruz, asked members of the Body of Christ to vote Cruz:

“I implore every member of the Body of Christ to vote according to the word of God. And vote for the candidate that stands for the word of God and the Constitution of the United States of America… The alternative could be the destruction of America.”

The Word of God warns us about false prophets. I’ll pass on Ted Cruz.

Cruz on the other hand waves his about for everyone to take notice. And quickly discarded them when it was convenient to stab Trump.”

Cruz’s behavior is the kind of thing that makes folks who are not religious or only mildly religious talk constantly about religious hypocrites.

Hypocritical and extreme Bible thumping puts fear into those who otherwise support fiscal conservatism, free speech, gun rights and are anti-abortion.

So easy for them to then call people “Religious Whackos.” The Cruz types turn people away from Christianity.

but don’t forget he too is human

I understand, but does that mean he doesn't know the Bible?

That was the point I was making. This narrative that one must not be a good Christian or know the Bible very well if they support Donald Trump instead of Ted Cruz, is disingenuous, to put it politely.

I frankly don't know where this "Dominionist" stuff came from other than Trumpsters looking to "brand" Cruz as something other than a Southern Baptist. The verses Cruz's dad quotes have been taught in Sermons for hundreds of years at least.

Try Proverbs 13:22, Isa 61 :6, Micah 4:13, Zech 14:14, Eze 7:19, and James 5:1-5. There are dozens more, but basically they discuss the justice that will follow when Jesus comes to rule and reign for 1000 years after the Last Days. During this period, it is discussed that the just will live in houses they didn't build and eat food they didn't grow. There is mention that The people left behind in the Rapture will rule and reign with Christ over the cities.

They key to this thinking is to be raptured to meet Jesus for the wedding feast and be forever with Him wherever He may be. The virgins with enough oil refer toy the church with the Holy Spirit and the unwise virgins are the church that denies the gifts of the Spirit and get left behind to face the Antichrist. Rapture and salvation are 2 different things. To be saved is as easy as confessing Christ as Lord and savior and placing your faith in Him. The problem there is many do not elevate Him to Lordship of their lives. many refuse the gifts of the Spirit, which renders them almost powerless to live the life God has called them for. The rapture is the calling of God's people to wed the King of Kings. He chooses people that love Him, people that have done His bidding, people that converse with Him and long for His coming. You might be surprised how many if asked would say "I don't want Jesus to come back because I want to watch my grand babies, or I have a new job, or I have a boat I want to sail to an island. These are the ones that WILL be left behind even if they have confessed Jesus. Building the Kingdom of God requires power on high, such as healing's, prophesy, speaking in tongues, and the other gifts. many don't want these gifts, so they remain powerless to the Kingdom as the man given one talent and he buried it. A reading Of Revelation shows the church is raptured, God's wrath is poured out, at least 2.5 billion people will die, and Jesus will return with His "bride" to rule and reign for 1000 years. There will be people left behind to deal with this mess. When Jesus rules from the throne in Jerusalem, wealth will be redistributed. If you believe the Bible, that's what it says. If not, you just want to make Cruz a weirdo. Most of the parables speak of just these things. A virgin is the bride of Christ, He will not accept a non virgin. A servant is just that,...a servant. Either you serve Christ or you sit on a pew waiting for lunch. A non Christian cannot be a servant. A non Christian commits adultery with idol's and cannot be a virgin for Christ. The purpose of the parables of this type are to tell you that God expects "works" from the saved people. Works don't save anyone, but God saves you to build the Kingdom, not to ignore Him till Jesus comes.

The purpose of this post is just to show that God taking the unjust wealth is not a crazy idea, it's in His Word. Frankly, I don't care because Jesus will provide everything I need at that time, but many will still be in an unglorified body and waiting to die and need to eat and live in a house While on Earth.

If your church doesn't teach these things, they are not teaching the whole council of God and you have been misled.

I bet you voted for Jimmy Carter because he was Southern Baptist & a Sunday School teacher. How’d that work out?

By your holier-than-thou attitude, I bet you told people they would go to hell if they voted for Reagan. After all, Reagan’s past wouldn’t be in line with some bible-thumpers on here. Who was the better President, Carter or Reagan? Be honest.

Cruz’s twisted father is a cult member yet you have no problem with that. Or are you a member of that cult?

It’s been my experience that the people who wear their religion on their sleeve, who loudly condemn other people to Hell for being “sinners”, are the biggest sinners themselves. The loud, obnonoxious, “I’m better than you” bible thumpers are the biggest adulterers, perverts, abusers & thieves around.

It’s also been my experience that the people who are humble, don’t wear their religion on their sleeves, who don’t brag to others about how holy they are, are the “true” Christians.

It wouldn’t surprise me if you were one of the savages protesting at Trump rallies, physically attacking Trump supporters & their children.

It wouldn’t surprise me if you were one of the savages waving a Mexican flag at Trump rallies. If not, I’m sure you beam with approval when the Anti-Trumpers attack the “satanic” Trump supporters.

Sorry, most people on here aren’t impressed with your sanctimonious, holier-than-thou, arrogant little diatribe. It’s people like you whom I trust the least.

BTW, anyone who makes such a big deal out of Trump saying “Two Corinthians” is incredibly petty, silly & ignorant.

I suggest you get off your high horse & humble yourself.

I was going through Melania’s tweets and came upon one that was sort of old and it was a photo from the church the Trumps went to on Easter - in Florida.

I think Trump is quiet about his religion. But he gets involved in helping others and he isn’t running for POTUS for his health. I think he’s walking the walk.

You got normal Christians and you got snake handlers.

Cruz and his father, along with Beck fall into the snake handler category.

And yes, I am serious.

There are enough pastors in America, that tell their congregants that God can, and does, speak to each and every one of them, whether they are listening or not.

To have the father of a presidential candidate, who happens to be some kind of pastor, say the same thing, in regards to voting or not for his son, taints those words the other pastors have just said, because his pride showeth.

So your saying Boner is your idol?

Not in the slightest.

Projecting much?

I'll leave it to you, to get on your knees and worship Boner.

Agreed.

My concern is about his comment about asking God for forgiveness.

That bothers me.

But I agree that Trump feels he is a Christian and tries to live it out.

I'd much rather follow someone who quietly lives their beliefs, vs someone who loudly proclaims them and discards them at their convenience.

No, I didn't vote Huckabee or Santorum. And of course I didn't vote for Carter. But that's the point, Carter was for abortion. He couldn't be a Sunday school teacher anywhere in my town.

My point is you need to exercise judgement when voting. Trump is a liar. An obvious pretender. Why do you keep doing the same things if you want something different? Trump is a RINO, just like BONER, Just like Christie, Just like Rep KING, like McCain and 100 others. If you say you don't like Dems, why vote for Trump? He supports their causes and gives them money and he just changed his registration when he decided to run. His kids are STILL reg Dems. Ask yourself why he decided to run as a Rep instead of against Hillary? If it's Hillary and Trump, it really doesn't matter who wins.

Cruz is a liar and sorry that is not Christian. Dominionists are cultists. Remember Jesus dealing with those who beat their chests and professed love of God while doing it only for show? Just holding a Bible and beating his chest does not make Cruz a righteous man.

I am not sure. Here is a known photo of Ted's dad marching in New Orleans around that time.

In the above, he is the guy with the glasses and caring the Batista sign.

Below see Oswald passing out pro Cuba tracts in New Orleans a few months before Kennedy is shot. The guy next to him is also passing them out. Is it the same guy? Some think it is.
