Cruz has as much reason, and as much determination to stay in the race, as John Kasich. I doubt any of the three now running will suspend their campaign before the convention.

If Trump wins Indiana, even George Will says it’s all over.

I hope Trump can pull it off.

I agree. Cruz will then be forced to up the ante for a significant win before the convention to legitimize his inside-the-wire sapper operation. My guess is that he’ll go nuclear in California with a call to legalize those illegals already here and then call for significant border control. I believe he is willing to do anything at this point. He is desperate beyond all reason.

Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” political correspondent Kasie Hunt said the campaign of Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is describing Indiana is the candidate’s “Alamo.”

Is this a Joke. I guess Ted never took Math in College

He can just point to past victories, and demonize Trump. The fundamental theme is more "not Trump" than "pick me," although both components are in the mix.

I don't see the party as having any affinity for Cruz, other than his placement as an anti-Trump.

The difficult task in front of the RNC is how to lose the general while appearing as though they are trying to win. Jeb was the designated loser, a year ago. That plan has been upended by Trump's popular appeal, and now the GOP is faced with the ugly possibility of winning.

I would note that Trump is doing quite well in Indiana despite the fact the local establishment, party operatives and leaders and almost all the media are totally slamming him.

Boom! Cruz Bails on Indiana

Only hours after suckering Indiana Governor Mike Pence into endorsing him, Ted Cruz has given up on Indiana as a result of surging polls for Donald Trump and crashing Cruz polls as a result of the double-cross bargain he had with John Kasich.

Take a look at this!

But after Trump wins tomorrow, watch sCruz babble on about “stayng in and winning at the convention!” You just know he’s nuts, but K-sick is destroying a heretofore halfway decent political career

Teddy’s last ditch effort came late Saturday night when he uprooted his entire campaign staff and fled the state of Indiana after he saw polling which indicated Trump was ahead by 22 pits. Not much of a last ditch effort.

I think all of their negativity actually helps Trump. The side benefit ( it they can “remember” when the time comes) is that the voter will take revenge for their duplicity and vote them out at the very first opportunity.

I don’t think that’s true. Cruz did a Sat event in CA but I think he’s still throwing everything at IN. I also don’t think Cruz is in charge of his campaign. His Bush connection keeps the GOP behind the wheel.
