Which begs the question: Who is he going to pick as his vice presidential nominee?
The short answer: No one knows. Trump relishes being unpredictable so trying to game out how this most unconventional of politicians will make his mind up is a bit of a guessing game. Add to that the fact that Trump's inner circle remains, largely, devoid of establishment types and you quickly get into a situation where the people talking don't know much and the people who do know aren't talking.

My guess is that Trump already has his VP lined up, and he will announce the name when he feels the time is ripe.

I am honestly tired of reading and hearing her name tossed around as VP candidate. It is clearly a pandering move to appease and appeal to the female and hispanic vote.
I want a VP who will have the same strength, courage, and skill to pick up and the mantle that Trump will carry in his presidency. Trump will have a massive target on his back, so the nation needs someone strong should he no longer be able to serve.

West would be a great veep, IMO. But he’s not exactly been front and center in favor of Trump has he? Quite the opposite, IIRC.
If Loser Teddy wanted to make a presumptive and totally irrelevant (since he’ll never be the nominee) VP pick to impress people instead of just pandering to liberal GOPe/vagina types, West shoulda been his pick, but in typical fashion he blew it.

I would love to see Trump pick Rudy Guliani. Together they’d sweep the electoral college.
My out of the box one? Alan Mulally, former CEO of Ford. He turned it around, why not have another Alpha Male as your 2nd in command as part of your strategy.
Sessions adds absolutely nothing to the ticket and only further cements the notion that the Trump faction is a bunch of old white racists.
Sessions is a great guy but a HORRIBLE VP choice. Horrible.

Trump would have to state Florida as his residence if Giuliani is still in New York. I don’t know where he lives now, but that’s a factor.

Trump doesn’t need Newt (or Huckabee) to carry Georgia in the general election. My point is that neither adds to a Trump-led ticket in states that are up for grabs, like Ohio, Virginia, and Florida.
Martinez would be where I’d put my money - if I gambled LOL.
