Marco Rubio warming up to Donald Trump

Marco Rubio appears to be warming up to Donald Trump, saying Friday his “performance has improved significantly." Rubio has also continued to withhold an endorsement of Ted Cruz, even though he previously praised him as the conservative in the race.

Last Sunday on Univision Rubio said it appeared Trump will lock down the nomination.

"If he keeps winning delegates like he did the other night in New York, I think he's going to reach that number," Rubio said on Al Punto Florida. "But let's see. There are still other states to go."

And Rubio, who continues to hold onto more than 100 delegates, has warned against a contested convention.

“Look let’s not divide the party. You have someone here who has all these votes, very close to get 1237, let’s not ignore the will of the people or they’re going to be angry. Delegates may decide on that reason that they decide to vote for Donald Trump but if they don’t it’s not illegitimate in any way,” he told Miami radio host Jimmy Cefalo.

“I’ve always said I’m going to support the Republican nominee, and that’s especially true now that it’s apparent that Hillary Clinton will be the Democrat nominee,” Rubio said.

Marco is a talent
would like to see him succeed

Well it won't be in politics. He blew that career path to smithereens with the Gang of Eight.

you know how to post threads. There’s a comedy about Ronald Reagan with dementia being made. Will Ferrell turned it down due to pressure, i think.

Amnesty RINO who brings nothing to the ticket. If you are going to tank the VP pick, might as well take Kacish. He is resilient and can bring in Ohio, the winning state.

Worst case, Rubio gets a cabinet slot, which is fine.

If Rubio leverages that for a Governor run in a few years, a cabinet slot is a good idea.

He’s still a young guy, with plenty of future.

Cruz is in the same boat, but his behavior may put a permanent crimp in his political upside.

Wasn’t Marco part of the Gang of 8? And when it hit the fan didn’t he (or his apologists) say he was hoodwinked by Chuck Shummer (sp?)?

Rubio has often - too often - been talked into and/or out of policy decisions for my taste. He relies on putting his finger to the wind too much.

President Trump doesn’t need someone so wishy-washy.

Little Cuban off the boat Marco hoping, and having his ‘midnight confessions’ about being VEEP.

Go away, Marco, just go away, before You ruin the taste of my coffee.

Would like that also.Would not hurt Trump at all to pick him as VP. It would bring in a lot of hispanics.

Great. Now Rubio, Christie, Giuliani, Scott Browm, and all the other RINOs will be on the government gravy train, telling us what to do.

True true. Wouldn’t we all like to have to lower ourselves to a 500K/year job on K Street?

Or being a CEO and selling out American workers. That pays pretty well too!

[Rubio is probably the best vp choice for Trump]

Open Borders RUBIO? No doubt RUBIO would call for tunnels to be built under the Great Wall of Trump.
