No, Ted Cruz was not ‘John Boehner’s lawyer’

John Boehner via stanforddaily

The media is working hard to convince you that they caught Ted Cruz in a lie about working with John Boehner. But they are the ones lying, as usual.

During an interview hosted by Stanford in Government (SIG) and the Stanford Speakers Bureau, former House Speaker John Boehner referred to presidential candidate Ted Cruz as “Lucifer in the flesh.” He continued, “I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.”

But Boehner did not “work” with Ted Cruz. Boehner only worked against Cruz as he golfed with Trump, who Boehner referred to as his “texting buddy.”

The comments are reminiscent of other nasty names Boehner has used to describe the constant anti-establishment thorn in his side. Last year, the failed Speaker referred to Cruz as a “jackass,” and still another time as a “false prophet.

Ah... because ALL “baby lawyers” are authorized to speak with the press on behalf of their boss’s clients without being the client’s lawyer, right?

Let's get a copy of the documents the law firm filed with the court in the case and see if Cruz's name is on them. If so, that would be dispositive. Notice how Cruz has tried to frame the issue as to make it turn on “conversations” rather than “representations.”

“Balance” that Cruz has lied that Trunmp:
1. is against the 2nd amendment

2. is against Isreal

3. agrees with the Obama/Kerry Iranian “deal”

Ted lied about those...one reason I went from contributor to Cruz to Trump voter.

where is the lie?
1 & 3 are certainly true true

do you know what Donald has said in the past or just hoping he didn’t say them

Boehner is sleazy but attorneys that appear for a case are a matter of public record. Even Boehner wouldn’t declare something untrue that is a matter of public record.

Boehner hates Cruz and he likely misled the media into believing that Cruz and he were close. But facts are facts, Cruz was an attorney on the case and Cruz denied he was. That makes Cruz a liar.

he said he was a junior lawyer. His boss was the attorney of record. Cruz didn’t lie
Cruz has said he has barely spoken to Boehner in the past and nothing has surfaced to refute that claim. There has never been a reason for the to interact

You people are trying way too hard to try to prove Cruz is a liar and to thinking people you are coming up way short.

Cruz said he didn’t remember talking to Mr. Sleazoid, which is the primary argument. So Boehner pulls “he was my lawyer” out of his putrid ass, knowing that the drive-bys and low-infos would jump on and wallow in that. Working on a case as a junior attorney does not make him his attorney. I have FAR more confidence in everything Cruz says than ANYTHING Boehner says. If Boehner ever said “Good morning” I would immediately check my watch.

This article isn’t worth clicking on. I didn’t, just more disinformation from these guys. C’mon Tuesday.
(Wednesday morning, Cruz will say, “Uh, hmmm—Oregon is my Gettysburg! Yeah, that’s the ticket.”)

“...saw Boehner say Cruz was his lawyer.”

Which is nearly conclusive evidence that he was never was.

If Cruz was on the case , he remembers but he evaded and said he was not and that he never even met Boehner.

Cuz told a lie, and a truth. That makes him a liar.

Even a little lie is a lie.

Boehner never said he was the lead attorney. Cruz said he was never an attorney on the case. That’s a lie.

There was a time here on Freerepublic when any reference to the “Seattle Times” would be laughed off the thread. My how times change...

“But Cruz had served as Boehner’s attorney in 1998, when the Ohio Republican sued a Democratic colleague over the release of a recorded phone conversation.

Mike Carvin, who was then one of Cruz’s bosses at the Cooper, Carvin & Rosenthal law firm, praised Cruz’s early work in the case, which Boehner eventually won in 2008.”

If,if, if - we know for certain Boehner is a liar. Your desperation on behalf of Trump is making you irrational

If Bonehead had just made crap up, nobody would be posting articles written in 1998 backing up what he said.

How brilliant of you.

Let it go. Ted’s qualifications for an office he’ll never hold are now irrelevant.
