Cruz’s latest fight with fellow Republicans is a reminder: Many don’t like the guy

In the space of just 7 minutes here on Thursday, Ted Cruz reminded fellow Republicans that he has few friends in the party.

First he tangled with former House speaker John A. Boehner, a longtime foe who so dislikes Cruz that he labeled him “Lucifer in the flesh.” Then Cruz undercut another Republican, fellow presidential candidate John Kasich, who had entered into an alliance with him to stop GOP front-runner Donald Trump.

“There is no alliance,” Cruz told reporters on Thursday, acting as if a pact announced by his own campaign days before had never happened.

Minutes later, Kasich strategist John Weaver dispatched a cryptic tweet: “I can’t stand liars.”

Cruz is a good and decent man, as well, a Constitutionalist

But we never have elected a President based on them being good, decent, or a Constitutionalist.

Mostly we go by looks.

Out of one side of their faces they say that Cruz doesn’t have any friends in Dc and out of the other side of their face they say he is one of the establishment.

I think it would be clearer to say he is the sacrificial lamb of the establishment.

I guess Cruz forgot what the terms jus soli and jus sanguinis mean.

How about you?

A good and decent man doesn’t lie and back stab others. If this is your definition of one - then your bar for morality and decency, must be very low. I see you are also hoodwinked as to who the statist and globalist really is - it IS Ted Cruz. His wife worked on the NAU, whose purpose was to dissolve our borders and create a one-America without borders. Ted also was GWB’s policy adviser, and that meant open borders. Wise up and stop being so danged ignorant. P.S. He’s also in favor of TPP, which leads to further disintegration of our sovereignty. Gee, some of you are so naive.

“Sen Mike Lee was defending Cruz. Is he the only guy who likes Cruz? “

Better question:
How much loyalty does a check for 500,000.00 buy these days?

That was what attracted me to Ted when he had the guts to call McConnell a liar for...lying! McConnell had promised to not vote on the crony bank of exports, then he reneged on it and Cruz called him out on it from the floor of the Senate

So, he agreed to vote for TPA if the import/export bank wasn't included? Take a look how he's acting right now. Who names a VP running mate when your 400 delegates behind? He's mathematically eliminated, but like Kasich, will not drop out. The only thing he offers up is that he is the Anti-Trump candidate. Compare that with Trump who just gave a major speech on his foreign policy platform. Listen to Trump's rallies. Aside from the occasional jab at Kasich and his wolverine eating habits and Ted's frequent lies, he discusses issues such as trade, immigration, etc.

This election taught me that Cruz is in it for Cruz. He talked a good game when it started, but came up flat and has nothing to offer. And yes, before he even announced, it was well known that he is despised with just about everyone who has worked with him. Starting from college, to the Bush campaign, to his time in the Senate. Can everyone who associated with him and dislike him be wrong?

The bottom line is that as a senator, he needs to work with others to enact laws that he feels are beneficial to the country. Mike Lee is more conservative than Cruz and he is not despised. Jeff Sessions is conservative and very respected.

Here’s the rub: Cruz knew McConnell was lying, when he put on his little dog and pony show. Everyone of his aides told him Mitch was lying, and not to trust him. SO, he knew, but, used it to attract fools like you who believed he was an outsider. He did it to gain publicity. Wise up!

Tead is no constitutionalist. He IS the globalist and also statist... not to mention a fake “face of god” phony.

Jesus is the face of God. NOT TEAD.

Just think - for a mere $500,000, you, too, can buy a friend like Carly Fiorina.

“Cruz didn’t exactly work well with Mitch McConnell either. Yeah, I am not Mitch fan but I believe Ted had a responsibility to try to work with him.”

So sCruze got himself elected to the Senate just like Hitlary, as a stepping stone to the Presidency. He’s a fake conservative, who, when the chips are down, will do or say anything to get what he wants. Jusst imagine that jerk in the White House.

Just curious. Can Carly claim to be a former Vice Presidential candidate or do you have to actually be nominated for that? And on another point, Teddy told us that the delegates select the nominee, but he gets to select his VP? I thought the delegates did that too? What a jerk he is.
