2016 Presidential election

Much of the discussion – and laughs – focused on Boehner’s views on the current presidential candidates. Segueing into the topic, Kennedy asked Boehner to be frank given that the event was not being broadcasted, and the former Speaker responded in kind. When specifically asked his opinions on Ted Cruz, Boehner made a face, drawing laughter from the crowd.

“Lucifer in the flesh,” the former speaker said. “I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.”

Boehner described other Republican candidates as friends. In particular, the former speaker said he has played golf with Donald Trump for years and that they were “texting buddies.”

In the fight between Trump and Cruz, I am for Trump.

In the fight between Cruz and Boehner, I am for Cruz.

I feel like you.....I was fooled by Cruz for quite a while. Not anymore. IMO, both snakes, different grass.

I wonder if Trump will add “Lucifer in the flesh,” to “Lying Ted”?

This is Boehner’s problem. He looked at the Congress as a social club rather than a legislative body.

I think there’s much about Cruz we don’t know about. However Lindsay Graham sure likes him.

Ted sCruz has a lot of very conservative support from staunch conservatives like, Linsey Gramham, Myth Romney, Glenn Beck, Snarly “Show her the money” Ferina, Neil Bush of Silverado Savings and Loan scandal, Yeb Bush.

FWIW, Cruz worked as Private Counsel for Boehner at one point.

So Trump and Boehner are “golf buddies” and “texting buddies”. Butt buddies too perhaps?

Trump’s alliance with Boehner should send people screaming for the exits, but of course it won’t. The inconvenient truths of this flim flam man are ignored. NYC establishment liberal takes over Republican Party.

He considers Cruz a miserable SOB because he so often refused to compromise, realizing that compromising with bad policy is like adding a little sewage to your drinking water. That’s a lesson all Republicans need to learn.

Most anyone has golfed with Trump. Limbaugh talks of golf outings. When it gets down to two, ya pick one. Boehner. AGENT Orange, picked.

Trumps relationship with boehner was not political. Big difference. We have liberal friends we do stuff with too. I bet most of us do.

John Boehner talks election, time in office

I hope that "Cryin' Johnny" Boehner follows closely in the footsteps of Dennis Hastert; maybe they can be cellmates. He more than deserves it!

This is the exact reason folks like Cruz. Trump and Cruz both are hated by the big gubbamint liberal republicans.

Proof positive.
