Sadly, Senator Cruz really jumped the shark today. This was a stupid move.
He considers himself a student of Reagan. Well Ted should have learned from Reagan in 1976. Towards the end of the primaries that year named liberal PA Republican Senator Richard Schweiker as his running mate. It blew up in his face as many of his conservative bakers were dismayed and it swayed some uncommitted delegates to vote for Ford.

Nobody chooses a VP when they have no chance of winning and Carly is a bad choice anyway. Now Drudge is asking about the $500K so this is the trifecta of moves. What an idiot.

Carly the job-killer. It’s as if Manafort made the decision on the choice and timing. Typical Cruz ineptness: contrived and obvious. I don’t know the stage of fail after “toast,” but he’s there now.
