IT’S OFFICIAL=> Ted Cruz Is Mathematically ELIMINATED from GOP Race – With Chart
The Gateway Pundit ^ | April 26th, 2016 | Guest post by Joe Hoft

As we predicted on April 2nd….

As of today, April 26, 2016, Ted Cruz is mathematically eliminated from winning the Republican nomination outright.

On April 2nd we predicted that Donald Trump would have 953 delegates as of today (needing only 284 delegates for the nomination) and that Cruz would have 550 delegates as of today (needing 687 to win the nomination).

We also predicted that only 634 delegates would remain and therefore Cruz would need more delegates than would be available.

Ted Cruz is eliminated.

It is clear that Cruz was eliminated tonight.

After winning all five primaries tonight — Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania — Donald Trump has 949 delegates so far.

Ted Cruz finished third in Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware and Rhode Island.

“Ted Cruz finished third in Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware and Rhode Island.”

Cruz running around this morning yelling to the tops of his lungs:

"We're number 3! We're number 3! We're number 3!"

Ted Cruz: "I am the king of voterless states!"™

Sen. Cruz and Gov. Kasich should go back to be the best Senator and Governor they can be and unite behind the Donald.

What’s sad is that Cruz could have been part of the Trump phenomenon. He could have been standing behind Trump during his victory speech last night instead of Chris Christie and be on the short list for VP, the Supreme Court or another high level appointment setting himself up nicely for future runs (he’s only 44 years old).

However he decided to cast his lot with the GOPe establishment and toss his conservative principles aside. He has greatly damaged his brand.

Congratulations! All of you Trumpsters have effectively ensured a progressive Socialist in the White House, a compliant House and a rubber stamp Supreme Court. I predict the Constitution, or what is left of it, will be a quaint relic in 50 years. Your children and grandchildren will be so proud of you.

Nope. Trump is the best bet for keeping Hillary (or Bernie) out of the White House. Thankfully, enough people see that to give him decisive victories last night.

BTW, I will echo another poster: don't let the MSM define the candidate. Learn to use Google and other internet resources to dig around and find out the truth. Hint: Trump is not really another Hitler, despite what Cruz pacs and the MSM told you.

This website should get you started.

He’s so far eliminated from a first-ballot victory, but would be the favorite if Trump doesn’t sew it up then.

So however much I wish Cruz would unify as Trump’s #2, it’s not happening until or unless Trump has buttoned down a first-ballot win.

In truth, it probably won’t come until that first ballot is cast, however, as Trump may be dependent on support from unbound delegates, on winning the GOPe fight to challenge the seating of some of his delegates, and on overcoming the GOPe/Cruz rules fights before they even get to the first ballot.

In some ways, this long period of uncertainty may be good, since the convention is too late for the GOPe to launch a credible third-party run.

The best way, still, to unite and motivate the battling Trump and Cruz voter bases is to ultimately have a Trump/Cruz ticket. Any GOPe pols or voters who can’t bring themselves to vote for either of the two top vote getters arguably don’t have much standing in the base of the party.

My numbers are different than theirs. I had him mathematically eliminated after New York. Before that actually. No one was dealing with the reality that others were still in the race.

It is now a campaign based on an outside shot, and they keep ignoring that Cruz will STILL finish 400 or more delegates short EVEN on the second ballot. And with some states allowing freedom to their delegates after the first ballot, he actually will start the second ballot 600 or more delegates short.

The GOP will see the handwriting on the wall and decide that a new king is better than an entirely dead kingdom.

Then, both Cruz and Kasich must IMMEDIATELY withdraw. If not, they are to be considered enemies of the people.

Bobby Knight in Trump’s corner seals the deal. Indiana won’t tolerate a jerk who doesn’t know what to call a basketball hoop! Didn’t think there was anybody in America that stupid.
