While the outcome may be a result of black voting patterns, I truly don't believe you can ascribe such conscious motivations to many outside of academia and the professional race-grievance elite. It certainly doesn't apply to the bulk of black voters, who are nevertheless a minority in their own community. Like most whites in America, the rank and file are influenced by sound-byte media talking points without pondering the deeper implications.
