WASHINGTON (CNN) — Former Pennsylvania Sen. Harris Wofford announced Sunday that he is marrying a man 50 years his junior, almost 20 years after his wife died.
Wofford, a Democrat who was also a top adviser to John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., announced his marriage to Matthew Charlton in a New York Times op-ed....

Wofford was appointed by the late Gov. Bob Casey, after the untimely death of Sen. John Heinz. He never did win an election here.
Bob Casey is still held in high regard by all of the little Pro Life Catholic Ladies. They really need to rethink this.

When a man marries a woman 50 years younger than he is, the woman is immediately branded as a gold digger. Will the same accusation be made here? Probably not. Most likely, the left will applaud Wofford for "having the courage to be who he really is."

It’s so fascinating and enlightening to go back and read old newspapers on microfilm at the library, from 50 years ago, 75 years ago, 100 years ago. And read about REAL NEWS and REAL PEOPLE. The culture, the worldview.

Yes, there will be a number of Leftists who ‘just want to be part of the movement’. I suspect this guy was always gay and is just now comfortable with coming out. I weep for the confused in the younger generations that are being encouraged toward homosexuality. When they were encouraged toward the straight lifestyle, they made marriages and had children the natural way. Not a bad thing for this country.
