Trouble is trying to keep DT on subject besides himself. No one can talk unless it is exactly what he wants to hear. That is DT winning a debate...

Better yet it's like saying "going to military school is like serving in the military?"

It won’t be one on one until Kasick drops out. Trump beat Cruz 11 times. No more debates needed. Trump can debate Hillary.

This topic has to be one of the most ridiculous of all time for what used to be a very worthy conservative news collection and opinion sharing site.

And the comment that Ted Cruz wasn’t a national debate champion has to be lamest of them all. Seriously? Who the heck cares? I don’t care who you support - but at least keep some dignity when you post.

Seriously, all of you on this thread need to look at your posts for what they are - ridiculous.

Now they depend on the rules!

I'd like to see a debate whose goal is not to raise some network's rating. A real DEBATE! Not a show. Something more like a Lincoln-Douglass debate.

Discuss issues, show respect, follow rules. I'd like decorum not zingers and gotchas. Something that is appropriate for a “Presidential” debate, not a schoolyard fracas.

Sessions is advising him on National Security and immigration. Must have been a very lucrative deal.

“One day after Donald Trump said he was his own primary adviser on foreign policy because he has a “good brain,” Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama identified himself as one of the people Trump is consulting on international affairs.”

On Thursday, at a breakfast hosted by the American Council for Capital Formation, Sessions said Trump’s instincts on foreign policy “have proven wise,” including his opposition to former president George W. Bush’s decision to invade Iraq in 2003. Sessions supported the invasion.

“(Trump) did say early on in the process that he did not think Iraq was good. You can judge for yourself how well you think that instinct was,” Sessions said.

You really think hildabeast is afraid of DT? You think she isn’t getting all the DOJ, IRS, NSA dirt on everything the man has ever done, especially internationally?

Here's what started Trump calling him Lyin' Ted. It was Ted's own childish lies:

At his campaign rallies and in every interview, Trump would say, "I support the 2nd amendment, it's going to be stronger than ever and I am not going to let anything affect the 2nd amendment."

Then that night or next day, Cruz would say, "Trump wants to repeal the 2nd amendment!"

At his campaign rallies and in every interview, Trump would say, "I will repeal Obamacare!"

Then that night or next day, Cruz would say, "Trump supports Obamacare!"

At his campaign rallies and in every interview, Trump would say, "We are going to support our vets and make our military stronger than ever!"

Then that night or next day, Cruz would say, "Trump opposes helping vets and believes in weakening our military."

At his campaign rallies and in every interview, Trump would say, "The Iran deal stinks, it's the worst deal ever made in history, I oppose it and I'm going to do something about it."

Then that night or next day, Cruz would say, "Trump supports the Iran Deal."

At his campaign rallies and in every interview, Trump would say, "I will stop illegal immigration and temporarily stop immigration of muslims until we can get a handle on this and vet them and make sure we are not bringing in trojan horse terrorists posing as refugees."

Then the next night or next day, Cruz would say, "Trump supports illegal immigration and wants to let Muslims into our country without any background check."

and so forth.

THAT is when Trump started calling him Lyin' Ted. Not before then. THOSE statements EXACTLY are what finally got under Trump's skin, and they WERE LIES. TOTAL LIES of the worst kind, and the stupidest kind. Like an 8 year-old child. Then the cheating and dirty tricks just got too big to ignore---they were like the 900 lb gorilla in the room, every damn primary.

>THAT is when Trump started calling him Lyin’ Ted. Not before then. THOSE statements EXACTLY are what finally got under Trump’s skin, and they WERE LIES. TOTAL LIES of the worst kind, and the stupidest kind. Like an 8 year-old child. Then the cheating and dirty tricks just got too big to ignore-—they were like the 900 lb gorilla in the room, every damn primary.

All true. Hence why a goofy name like Lyin’ Ted has stuck so well and has done so much damage.

“So that’s why Trump avoids debating him one on one, ..”

It’s pretty obvious that Trump doesn’t want to show the country how incompetent he is. How can anyone trust Trump to run our country?

“Calling someone that voters support Lyin’ Ted is not an insult? Trump does nothing BUT insult anyone standing against him.”

Maybe Donald Duck Trump needs to be insulted.

Duckin’ Donald, as he is ducking debating with Cruz.

Duckin’ Donald should welcome several debates of 90 minutes each on one or two questions like foreign policy, finances, immigration, healthcare and other subjects. Don’s amazing depth of knowledge should serve him well.
