In College Roommate David Panton, Ted Cruz Finds Unwavering Support
New York Times ^ | April 23, 2016 | Jason Horowitz

On a break during a business trip to Washington last year, David Panton hailed a cab to take him to the Capitol. He told the driver he was going to see the Texas senator and presidential candidate Ted Cruz.

“He’s racist,” the cabdriver replied, according to Mr. Panton.

Mr. Panton, taken aback, informed his driver that Mr. Cruz had a bust of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on the right side of his desk, that he was the only senator to attend the funeral of Nelson Mandela and that he had a “black guy” as a college roommate and best man at his wedding.

“I don’t believe that,” the cabby said, as Mr. Panton tells it.

“Well,” Mr. Panton replied, “you’re talking to him.”

Barack Obama has folks who support him to and think he is a nice man.

Whether Ted’s debate buddy and business partner likes him is not my concern.

I evaluate the Anointed One on his actions during this past two years.

Ted the career government employee penned a pro TPP article with Paul Ryan. Ted the career government employee went to the border with Glenn Beck to give out teddy bears and soccer balls. Ted the career government employee is surrounded by establishment politicos like Neil Bush

That’s very much like the pic of Obama and his male “friend” in college.

The point of the article was to refute a specific claim sometimes made against Cruz - that he is a racist.

Doesn't mean he should be the nominee.

Back then, Ted wasn’t bad looking. Now? He needs a nose job badly.

I am very worried about Trump winning the nomination- first, I think he'd lose to Hitlery. With his constantly shifting positions, all under the guise of "the art of the deal" it is impossible to know if he has any core values.

He supported the Dream Act, employs who knows how many illegal aliens, and now he wants to build a wall. Well they'll just build more tunnels. He supported the bailouts of his banking buddies. He appears to be for a very large and powerful federal government- the last thing we need.

Cruz children are adorable, but Heidi as an asset? Her support of NAU directly from the NAU paper:

I support the Task Force report and its recommendations aimed at building a safer and more prosperous North America. Economic pros- perity and a world safe from terrorism and other security threats are no doubt inextricably linked. While governments play an invaluable role in both regards, we must emphasize the imperative that economic investment be led and perpetuated by the private sector. There is no force proven like the market for aligning incentives, sourcing capital, and producing results like financial markets and profit-making businesses. This is simply necessary to sustain a higher living standard for the poorest among us—truly the measure of our success. As such, investment funds and financing mechanisms should be deemed attractive instruments by those committing the capital and should only be developed in conjunction with market participants. Heidi S. Cruz

I don't support NAU or NWO! We are a sovereign nation and should remain so!

Quite a few things.

OTOH, Trump’s life is an open book. Warts are visible for everyone to see.

Research Panton and Cruz's Caribbean private equity scam which badly scammed a popular local figure in the islands, after which Panton's budding political career ended (in which he dated TWO beauty queens, having a child out of wedlock with one) and Panton and Cruz were run out of the Caribbean. Their company was a scam that went on for years leveraging it as a tax write off (a cheat?) for a long time. Panton fled to Atlanta and has been there ever since.

And why did Heidi receive one of her first Bush White House assignments as US representative over the Caribbean, requiring her to even learn Spanish.

The story is out there on the Internet, like most everything else. All one has to do is search. A previous NYT piece from years ago will shed some light even.

Cruz has been shady since college.

I know so much about these people. Much or most I've posted on FR and there's been no interest. I'm not special---just curious and care enough to research the background of things. Anyone can.

Like Cruz and the gay mafia, just another example. There's a gold mine of info out there. All one has to do is GOOGLE.

I do not know any normal male who would sit that close to another man, nor with that vibe.
