Donald Trump Jr: Ted Cruz Has To Bribe Delegates To Win
CNN ^ | APRIL 24

Posted on 04/24/2016 8:38:39 AM PDT by Helicondelta

Donald Trump Jr. said that the only way Texas Sen. Ted Cruz can convince delegates to support him over his father is with bribery.

"Ted Cruz has no chance of winning this without bribing the delegates. That's his game at this point," the son of the real estate mogul told CNN's Jake Tapper in a CNN "State of the Union" interview that aired Sunday.

Trump Jr. said if his father wanted to bribe delegates he could -- and do it very well.

"He could send his private plane and send them down to Doral, they could play golf for a week and then we win that delegate. That's not the way this country should be run," Trump Jr. said.

Trump had won 36% of the votes and 45% of the delegates when he began the whining. Should he walk the talk and renounce those extra delegates?

Said the son of the man who is a registered democrat who made a career of buying and supporting democratic politicians.

There corrected it for you.

Why don’t we try something new.

If a statement is demonstrably true, why not agree or take a pass on responding to it.

Trump had a business worth billions, and he donated to politicians so he would have access. I have not seen one instance where it has been shown his contributions resulted in a shady outcome.

Bribing delegates is shady. It is a corruption of the process.

Cruz doesn’t care about the voters...he’s lied to us over and over. He has Cambridge Analytics feeding him data so he can tell us what he thinks we want to hear. He isn’t even eligible and his former self said so in 2012.

All Cruz cares about is his own ego and probably living up to his father’s expectations of being “annointed by God”.

Cruz will run as a national candidate in 2020 in Canada for Prime Minister.

He is a natural born citizen of the Province of Alberta, Canada and he can repatriate.

I have video of Trump stating he contributes to both parties to buy influence. That’s good enough for me to make my statement. My hopes for a Free Republic have long since gone by the wayside.

So what Cruz, who was right there, said was a kid’s drawing and a $5 bill

Why would Cruz be giving a stranger's kid 5 bucks???

I was at conference where one of those analytics companies gloated how they helped Obama. I wanted to throw eggs at them.

In my opinion delegates should exist only as safeguards in case the candidate flips out or refuses to resign if caught in a scandal. Then they can hash it out on the convention floor but not to rob a viable front runner of their victory the voters elected.

If there weren't delegates, the front runner would only have 38% of the vote right now. Then what?

You have evidence of bribes? If so I will gladly not cast a vote for Cruz in the primary. Unlike you there are limits to my support. For instance if Cruz States that people can use a locker room based on how they FEEL, that would assure that I would not vote for him in the primary also.

You are an idiot!!!

There is no provision in Canadian Law as a Natural Born Citizen. But hey if you believe Liberal Trump will build a wall and pay off the debt in 8 years then you will believe anything. The art of seduction. Must be a Herbalife sponsor . LOL

Campaign contributions are legal.

Handing out folded 100 dollar bills to delegates is a crime.

I guess this must be too complicated and Cruzers really can’t see the difference.

LMAO, you must not live in Texas. BTW, Ted won all but six counties in Texas, though there were 13 candidates on the ballot

the continued attacks on Ted could put Texas in play for Hillary..

You're now messing with Texas...big mistake.

The poster I was replying to posted something about a brouhaha yesterday or day before about a kid passing something to Cruz in a handshaking line and the firestorm about Cruz being bribed. It has nothing to do with this story, as do most of the things posted about Cruz.

>>Said the son of the man who made a career buying politicians.

No. He made a career buying and selling real estate. Buying and selling politicians is just a necessary hurdle that you have to jump because ALL career politicians are crooked—even the ones who need to tell you repeatedly that they are the most godly candidate.

This is a case of Trumpsters blathering about stuff they know nothing about

Oh, but we know a lot about the shady corrupt inside dealing that has rotted the heart out of the United States. The banana republicans are used car salesmen - want a moderate - we have moderates galore McCain, Romney, want tea partiers, we have Rubio, want a true conservative we have Cruz. All colors all styles and they all come with GPS collars so that if they stray from where the GOPe says they may go, we hit this little button, and shock them by threatening their campaign cash. Want pre-owned, we have Bushes driven by Saudi Princes. Some are high mileages, some are like new.

I just find it impossible to believe that there are folks on this forum who continue to spout your kind of anti-American nonsense.
